Crystalpaw yawned as she rolled onto her back, she had been hunting since she met Echopaw. Now she was trying to nap in the sun but she couldn't stop thinking about Echopaw being curled up with Crowpaw in the sun. Ugh! Stupid fur-ball. She hissed to herself before standing up, she headed over to the river and picked up her pile of prey and watched the sun. It was just starting to sink, she should start heading back to camp before Longclaw gets too angry at her leaving.

As she walked she couldn't shake this feeling that lay deep in her stomach. Maybe i'm hungry. She told herself before plodding along the riverbank, she walked along it as much as she could before she needed to walk along the grass as the river was starting to swell from the large amount of rainfall leaf-bare brought. Though soon it would be over and new-leaf would come. Crystalpaw couldn't wait, she loved being with the wild cats hunting in the hot sun. Though she knew it would be some time before she was able to hunt along side Echopaw and Wildpaw, though maybe Wildpaw would be okay with her. Maybe he wouldnt take his brother's side.

Mouse-Brain! She hissed to herself as she stopped, She looked down at the fish and sighed. Was this the right chose? maybe i could have gotten another Twolegs family to look after me. As the thought she could feel the sadness swelling up inside her, she was losing him and there was nothing she could do about it. He was going to have to make his mind up, Crystalpaw had no control over the matter anymore. Not after her outburst by the Apprentices' den yesterday.

By the time Crystalpaw has gotten back to camp the sun has disapeared behind the hills, she plodded in slolwy hopping not to be seen by her Leader or mentor as she knew she would be Crow-Food for sure. Though StarClan was not on her side today.

"Crystalpaw!" A deep voice bellowed from behind her, the small she-cat dipped her head and flattened her ears before tunring around to see the white furred leader of RiverClan. Fox Dung. Crusyalpaw lifted her head and stared up at her leader, she knew she was in trouble.

"Y-Yes Lightstar..." Crystalpaw gulped as she tried not to drop the fish she were pressed between her jaws.

"Where have you been?" Lightstar asked, "Longclaw has been worried sick."

"I-I went hunting, i thought the Clan could do with some more fresh-kill for the pile." The crystal pelted apprentice said before placing the five fish at Ligthstar's paws.

"I can see that." He hissed. "You know you are not ment to leave the camp with out being told to by a warrior."

"I know, im sorry but i really needed some alone time. You see-" Crystalpaw stopped dead as she saw Echopaw plodded past behind Lightstar and over to Wildpaw.

"Go on."

"I-I-I was feeling home sick but i didnt want to clan to know so i thought i could take my mind off of it by hunting."

Lightstar stared down at her shock but soon wiped it off of his muzzle. "I see, very well. Go and place the fish in the Fresh-kill pile then head off and see if the Elders need anything done."

Crystalpaw nodded before picking up the fish and heading to the fresh-kill pile, she placed the fish down slowly before racing off the the Elders den. She planned on getting everything done then sitting down and hearing a few tales from the Elders.
