The next thing Crystal knew, she was laying on the soft grass in the forest. Crystal lately got up and shook her head, a strength scent was in the air. ThunderClan! Crystal jumped to her paws, Echopaw had told her to stay out of ThunderClan territory. The only time Crystal headed through ThunderClan territory was to get back to her Twolegs, and even then she stuck to the edges. She had never been this deep into the forest before.
Crystal got up, she stared around before sniffing the air. RiverClan! Crystal raced towards the scent, as she ran she could smell other cats. ThunderClan, RiverlClan and something else. As Crystal followed the scent she realised she was at fourtrees, Crystal panicked and turned around. As she went to flea she slipped in a damp leaf and rolled down the hill, she let out a yelp as she reached the bottom.
When Crystal openers her eyes she was met by a large group of angry looking cats, as the cats joined together Crystal was able to make out RiverClan and ThunderClan scent but the rest of the cats smelt; strange.
Crystal pushed herself up, fear growing in her eyes as she looked the cats over. A white Tom with a brown tail stepped forward as did a ginger she-cat, a white tim and a dark brown and black she cat.
"Have you been spying on us?" The ginger she-cat snapped, Crystal stumbled back a few paces and shook her head.
"N-No. Sorry. I was. Umm." Crystal stuttered due to how intimidated she felt, the White tom pushed in front.
"Spit it out kit." He said, Crystal nodded.
"I. I've just been thrown out by my twolegs and my mother told me about the clans." Crystal said, the White tom with the brown tail stared down at the KittyPet. A moment later a black tom with brown paws and a white muzzle joined the White tom with the brown tail, he pressed his muzzle to the White Tom and mumbled something in his ear. The White Tom nodded. "Very well." He said, the five cats shared a glance.
The other three cats dipped their heads and disappeared into the mass of cats, the mass of cats started to brake off into four groups all over fourtrees. Crystal let out a small sigh as the mass of cats broke up, she felt less scared and out numbered tho she knew that the clan cats were faster, braver, smarter and stronger then she was. But she was going to become one.
"You're very brave to come here at this time." The White time said. "My name is Lightstar leader of RivercClan, yours?"
Crystal gulped, she could fear prickling through her fur but she found the courage to talk. "I'm Crystal."
"Nice to meet you Crystal. This is Longclaw-" Lightstar turned his head to the black Tom with the brown paws and white muzzle, he dipped his head to great Crystal. "He is the RiverClan deputy."
Crystal stated as she saw a glimmer of pride in the deputies eyes as his leader spoke, Crystal nodded.
"Lightstar, may I ask Crystal a question?" Longclaw asked, Lighstar nodded. The large deputy turned and looked down at the small Siamese cat that stood before him.
"What makes you think you will be able to live the life of a clan cat?" The large deputy asked, Crystal gulped before putting on a proud look.
"Because I am strong, I am a fast learner, I'm fast and brave."
Lightstar nodded. "And I do not doubt you Crystal." As the RiverClan leader turned to look at Longclaw he saw the deputy had a strange look in his eyes, the look was a lot like the look had had when every he saw his only daughter, Puddlekit.
