Crystalpaw let out a small yawn as she waited by the medicine cat's den for Lightstar, something had kept him in his den for a long time now. Just as Crystalpaw was about to curl up Hollytail plodded put holding some herbs in herb jaws.
"Hello Hollytail." Crystalpaw purred, the medicine cat gave a quick nod before plodding off to the elder's den. Maybe Loosestorm is having trouble with his scars. Crystalpaw said to herself as she curled up and waited, she yawned once again trying to keep her eyes open but was unsuccessful.
Lighstar plodded out slowly with Longclaw, the sat by the entrance of the leader's den and watched Crystalpaw.
"should I tell her?" Longclaw asked as he sighed, Lightstar shook his head.
"Not yet Longclaw. Let her become a warrior first." Longclaw nodded before heading to the Warriors' den, Lighstar stood up and plodded over to Crystalpaw. He licked her forehead softly before pulling some leaves and moss over her sleeping body. Good night Crystalpaw. He though. Thank StarClan your back safely.
When Crystalpaw awoke it was just before SunHigh, she yawned loudly before streching and watched the clan. She let out a soft groan as she realised that she had fallen asleep waiting for Lighstar meaning she had missed out of hunting, she plodded over to the fresh-kill pile and grabbed a small mouse before heading back to her spot and layed down to eat. Just as she was about to finished she looked up to see Lighstar sitting next to her eating a small fish.
"It's a great day to hunt." He said as she took a bit of his fish. "You still up for that hunt I promised?" He asked after he finished his mouthful, Crystalpaw purred happily.
"Yes!" She yelled happily before finished her mouse.
"Alright then, we will leave once the noon patrol comes back." Lighstar purred as he look another mouthful, but as he lowered his head he watched Crystalpaw. Could she really be Berrypelt's daughter? He asked himself. Please StarClan send me a sigh.
By the time the patrol was back Lightstar had finished his fish and Crystalpaw was helping Hollytail was herbs, Lighstar greated the patrol and informed them of his absence.
"What's this?" Crystalpaw asked as she sniffed a small pile of herbs on the ground, Hollytail giggled.
"That's Burnet." Hollytail said. "It's a traveling herb."
"Oh, like what the Warriors and apprentices take before heading to the moonstone?" Crystalpaw asked, Hollytail nodded as she sorted some more herbs.
"Your very full of questions today, aren't you Crystalpaw?"
Crystalpaw nodded as she sniffed a pile of herbs before pulling her nose away and sticking her tongue out, Hollytail laughed as she sat down and licked her forepaw intensely. Crystalpaw's ears pricked up as watched the medicine cat.
"Are you okay?" Crystalpaw asked as she plodded over, Hollytail lifted her head and sighed.
"Yes." Hollytail answered. "I have a thorn between my pads, that's all."
"Can I help?" The small she-cat asked, Hollytail purred and nodded before holding out her paw. Crystalpaw sniffed her paw softly before licking between two pads, she gripped her teach onto a small twig-like-thing before slowly pulling her head back. Hollytail pulled her paw away in pain before licking her paw again, Crystalpaw cocked her head to the side and watched hoping she didn't hurt Hollytail too much.
"Is it any better?" She asked quickly after, the medicine cay nodded before putting her paw to the ground.
"Thank you Crystalpaw." Hollytail purred, Crystalpaw purred but before she could say anything esle she heard her leader calling her name. She bowed a good-bye before bounding out of the Medicine cat den and out into the clearing, she looked from left to right hoping to see her leader but she was unable to see the white furred tom cat anywhere.
"Hey! Mouse-Brain!" Sharpclaw called out, Crystalpaw turned to see the white pelted tom cat standing only two fox length away from her. She sighed as she glared at him, he turned turned his head to the camp entrance. "He's waiting for you by the pebbles." Crystalpaw nodded before racing past the warrior and pushed her way through the thorn tunnel and popped out the other side, her ears pricked up as she looked for Lighstar. Before she could do anything a large cat crashed into her flank caughsing her to roll over and land on her side, she hissed as she jumped to her paw. She blinked hard as she saw the cat that had knocked her over. Lightstar.
