Monday, 7:00am--

For obvious reasons, the two weren't going to go to the police immediately. Yes, it was a matter that required immediate attention, but it didn't change the fact that they still needed to go to school. Lance had told Keith that they would drive straight to the police station after classes and attempt to convince the jury of setting up a court date for Keith. For the time being, they ended up texting each other during class discussing the incident, telling Lance everything that had happened that day. (Leaving out the extreme details of the actual assault, of course.)

3:45pm--

Keith was waiting out by the front gates of the school for Lance, who had texted him that he would meet him there and follow him to the police station, which wasn't very far from the school considering how they had a few school officers who came by sometimes.

Soon after, he spotted that bright blue sports car whipping around the corner of the school and stopping at the gate. Lance rolled down his tinted window with his sunglasses on. Idiot, Keith thought, rolling his eyes.

"The hell are you doing?" Lance said, putting his hand out of the window and poking Keith's arm playfully. "Ohhh I see, you think I'm driving you! No, Keith, baby you can't leave your car here. I thought we discussed this" Lance said, lowering his sunglasses. Keith blinked a couple of times in realization before rubbing his eyes.

"Ah..sorry, Lance. I'm so tired that I can't think today.. I'll follow you there, okay?"

"Don't worry about it, you've been through some shit. It's okay." Lance replied with a smile, beginning to roll the window up. Keith nodded and turned to find his red car parked nearby, pulling out of the school parking lot.

4:00pm--

By the time they'd made it to the police station, Keith could already feel his head beginning to ache. It pounded like a million hammers banging against it. Was it the dread that he would have to explain the entire situation to the police? Or was it the stress that he would have to explain why he didn't do anything about it sooner? Either way, there was a load of pressure pushing itself down on his shoulders, seemingly submerging him under an ocean-- a sea of thought that he could not swim up from. Though he felt very pessimistic about the situation, he knew that once it was all over he could go back to his normal life. It won't ever be normal again, however...

His eyes shifting across the parking lot until he saw that familiar blue sports car swing into a parking spot next to him, climbing out was the only person he had confided in about the ordeal. He couldn't even tell if that was a good or a bad thing...

He followed him through the glass doors. Oddly enough, the flourescent lightbulbs stung his eyes the moment he walked in, causing him to squint. He turned his chin downward and then ahead, seeing a man sitting behind a desk in front of a computer. Lance approached the desk and began talking. Keith knew whatever he was saying was about his court case, however, he couldn't seem to make out a single word that spilled from his tongue. Again with the ocean, clouding his senses. First his hearing, then his sight. The world around him became blurry. What was happening? He suddenly felt lightheaded as if he were about to faint.

Keith stumbled forward a little and grabbed ahold of Lance's blue shirt sleeve, tugging on it to get his attention. He looked over at him, a bit confused at first.

"Are you okay?" the words came out slurred in Keith's mind, bubbling like being swallowed under water. Keith didn't respond, nor did he feel like responding. He quietly rested his forehead on Lance's shoulder and closed his eyes, soon hearing Lance return to speaking with the other male.

4:30pm--

Later on, the two boys were escorted to a room in the inner section of the building to discuss the situation with an officer. Keith felt a little strange telling someone about his being of sexually assaulted by his ex-boyfriend who stalked him home and climbed up his balcony, threatening to kill him if he didnt cooperate. He would have killed him if Keith was any smaller, or if the act had gone on longer than it did. The only reason it stopped in the first place was because the damn psychopath had gotten bored from Keith's eventual lack of reactions to his acts against him.
