Chapter 20

The way his arm snaked around my waist, the way his hand caressed my cheek and the way his lips brushed against mine..was too good to be true.

I can't believe that we just kissed. However, it was wrong. We shouldn't be doing things like that.

I cursed under my breath and fell onto the floor. I panicked.

"Why? Why? Wh-"

"Aera-ssi? Is everything fine?" I see Minhyuk looking at me as he offered to help me get up from the floor. I looked at him closely.

I managed to get up with his help. However, it didn't seem like we just did that. Why does that sound mysterious and dirty?

"Y-you! A-and me! We k-k-kis–"

"What?" He chuckled

"Didn't we j-just k-kissed?" I asked him nervously as I pointed my lips.

Minhyuk stared at me as he laughed his ass out.

"YAH! I'm asking you!" I exaggerated, I guess.

"Ms. Hwang Ae Ra, you could have just told me that you like me. No need to tell me your fantasies about me." He joked. I guess this guy needs a few punches.

So....that was just a fantasy? Was I hallucinating much? I slap myself before witnessing Minhyuk walking away from me.

"YAH! I DON'T LIKE YOU! YOU JERK!" I screamed as he walked away and waved goodbye.

"This guy really needs a beating. I can't believe Jin has become like this." I mumbled and scratched my head as I also walked away.

Saturday

I already woke up and did my morning routine. Today is the day wherein the whole day, the whole time will be spent with Kim Minhyuk and of course Mr. Choi.

I bid my mom goodbye as dad brought me to the car and we went off.

"I can't believe my daughter is so good at English." My dad's compliments are the best. If only, my dad in the present was also like that.

"I know dad, I know." I said as we both laughed together.

"We're here!" My dad exclaimed as I got off the car and kissed his cheek.

"Goodluck Aera!" He said before I went inside our school.

Mr. Choi told us to wait in the school library so I went on my way there. I took out my mother's diary and scanned a few pages of it.

"Hey." A hand waved right in front of me which caught my attention. I immediately closed the journal I was holding and looked at a face I never want to see.

"Hey, Aera-ssi. Since we're destined to cross paths here how about we head to the library together..hm?" He said with a smile which just made me scoff.

"Destined? Really? You should really improve your flirting skills." With that, I walked past him.

My steps went into a halt as I was being grabbed.

"Hey!" I shouted Minhyuk was just there smirking.

"So..." He walked closer to me which made me walk backwards. My steps stopped as I felt my back hit the wall.

"Hey! What are y–" Minhyuk suddenly trapped me with his arms. In short, he pinned me against the wall.

This act is too cliché now. I hate this. However, it flattered me since Jin well I can say did this in his own will.

"Well, since you didn't like that
kind of flirting or was I really flirting with you, you like the agressive type, don't you?" His smirk grew wider which just made me laugh.

I slapped his arms away which made me escape.

"I'll head to the library now!" With that, I ran off.

Jin laughed as he saw the girl he loved pretending to be cold and cool. He couldn't believe she grew up in such a manner. When they were younger, he thought of Ella as a sweet, loving and diligent girl. However, as the seasons changed, the years went on and on, she had changed but still, he loved her.

The man couldn't help but smile at how cute she acted a little while ago.

"Oh, Minhyuk? You're here? Where is Aera?" Mr. Choi suddenly entered the scene as Minhyuk snapped out from his thoughts.

"Good morning Mr. Choi! I think I just saw Aera going to the library which I believe I'm also heading there." As polite as he is, Minhyuk never forgot to greet his teacher first.

"Oh, okay. Let's head there together." Mr. Choi told him as the man nodded.

Minhyuk and Mr. Choi went upstairs to the school library. They spotted Aera reading some books from the library.

Aera spotted the both of them and stood up to bow to Mr. Choi.

The three gathered and talked.

"Minhyuk and Aera, do stay here for a minute I'll be in the faculty to get the key for our assigned classroom." With that, Mr. Choi left the two on their own.

"Aera, if only you knew ab–" Her head suddenly landed on his broad shoulders which made him stop from talking.

Minhyuk smiled at Aera and let her sleep for a couple of minutes on his shoulder.

She really likes to sleep, huh? Jin thought as he stared at the girl who was peacefully asleep on his shoulder.

"Ella, it's our first week together, where do you want to go on our date tonight?" Jin focused his eyes on the road as he drove. The street light flashed a red light which meant he had to stop.

"Ella?" Jin looked at the passenger seat and saw Ella leaning down as she slept.

"Aish, this woman." He chuckled at his girlfriend as he kissed her forehead and cheek.

He continued to stare at her until he noticed the street light flashed a green light. With that, he continued driving.

"Minhyuk and Aera, come here." Mr. Choi told them as Minhyuk woke Aera up.

Aera blinked a few times and stretched her arms before getting up.

"I dozed off again." Aera pouted as she took her belongings before following Mr. Choi.

Minhyuk chuckled and followed.

Did she really thought of us kissing the other day? He thought and laughed it off.
