Chapter 12

Jin..

He didn't understand what had happened to him. As he woke up, he was greeted by his grumpy father who gave him a hard slap on his cheek. As he went to school, he wore a face mask to cover the red mark which was left by his father.

He walked through the hallways of the school. He immediately stopped and went to his classroom. As usual, he sat beside Hwang Ae Ra. His worried and confused face was soon replaced with a smile as he saw her.

"Ella, how are you?" he whispered to her

The girl flinched as she glared at the man who suddenly whispered onto her ear. She sighed and looked at him intensely with a brow slowly raised.

"Uhm..sorry but...who are you to whisper suddenly into my ear? I mean..you are my classmate but don't approach me like that. And, I am Hwang Ae Ra, by the way, if you forgot." Aera rolled her eyes as she continued her business

Jin suddenly thought what could have happened. Normally, Ella wasn't like this. She was more of funny and who would dwell with his jokes. However, this isn't Ella he's talking with as of the moment. But, is she really the Hwang Ae Ra?

"Ah, sorry. I should have mind my manners." He said to the woman as he sat down.

Where is Ella right now?

As school ended, he couldn't think about anything else but Ella. Where is she as of the moment? What happened that he's the only one left in this time? Would he be stuck here until forever?

Jin's mind was too occupied that he wasn't able to hear how his father has been talking to him. Or more like yelling at him.

"KIM MIN HYUK!" that was when he heard how angry his father was. He suddenly stood up straight, facing the man with his eyebrows furrowed together and his wrinkles forming above his forehead. Jin couldn't help himself but gulp nervously as he stared at the grumpy man right in front of him.

"So, you'll just ignore me since your wedding got called off?" Mr. Kim scoffed at his son.

"You'll regret everything you have done Kim Min Hyuk. That Hwang Ae Ra you've been with, she'll not be in danger but you are and remember that." he continued and left his room.

That's when he realized that he's left in the past due to the troubles he had created. In the journal, which was originally owned by his father, it was said to not anymore make ties with Hwang Ae Ra, but instead, he did. He wasn't able to think anymore as he was figuring out a way to escape this time. Jin wanted to be back in his time and to be with Ella. He couldn't anything but shed out tears, knowing he was already alone without company.

"Kookie-ah, what time is it?" Ella asked her brother as she was still rested on a hospital bed.

"12:00 in the midnight, noona." Jungkook replied as he stood up to take the medicines his sister needed. Yet, before he could reach the other table, he fell onto the ground.

Ella noticed as she sat up and threw away the blanket placed on top of her to stand up and walk towards her brother.

"KOOKIE-AH! WAKE UP!" she yelled and literally called for hep as she reached out for Jungkook's phone.

She immediately contacted Jimin as he replied to the call quickly.

"Noona? What's the matter?" he asked softly since everyone in the room he was staying were sound asleep.

"JUNGKOOK! HE FELL AND IS UNCONSCIOUS!" she told him as she panicked.

"WHAT?! I'll be right there." he ended the call.

Ella held his wrist and checked her brother's pulse. He literally was unconscious. Unknowningly, the door suddenly opened as Jimin entered to carry the maknae.

"I'll call the doctor Jimin. Let him stay on the couch." Ella told Jimin as he obeyed her orders and she left to call a doctor.

Once she reached the counter, she immediately told the nurses on duty about the situation. Thus, they rushed to her room and placed Jungkook on a stretcher to check him up.

"Youngjoon-ah." a voice rang into Jungkook's ears.

He blinked a few times before he was aware of his surroundings.

"Wake up now, Youngjoon-ah. You still have to go to school." There he realized, he was back. The past hasn't end yet, he still has a mission.

He immediately stood up to do his routine and later on went to school.

The class got bored as he thought of killing the time. Thus, he read the journal in his bag.

January 27, 1983

   I, Hwang Young Joon, am safe but my noona Hwang Ae Ra, is no longer safe because there had been events which would put her life into danger. One, the Kim family would ambush their home and abduct her. Two, Kim Min Hyuk's father would try to kill her. And three, she might die and there must be someone to save her. The events from the original past has changed due to the mistakes done by two. Jeon Ella and Kim Seok Jin, they had created trouble. More likely, to cause something too unexpected. Thus, Jeon Jungkook, he is tasked to tell Kim Seok Jin about this
