Chapter 2

Your parents stayed at the living to have a word with Mr. Kim, the butler who is accquainted to your father.

"Mr. and Mrs. Jeon, what is it that you would like to talk about?" he asked

"It's about your son and our daughter."

"Why? Is there a problem?"

"It has been years since we moved here. It also has been years that the two became close."

"Is there something wrong with that?"

"We never wanted to let our daughter fall in love with a peasant. Just like your boy, I must say... He isn't compatible with my daughter."

Mr. Kim's eyes went wide as he heard that. He doubt that it was true. Every word he heard from Mr. Jeon's mouth, it made him want to stay away.

Mr. Kim relaxed himself as he sighed.

"If that's the case.. Then.... We'll keep distance with you, your family and your properties. In other words, we'll stay away." he said firmly as he stood up. Not bothering to hear a response from the man.

"Yah! You shouldn't have done that! Mr. Kim is too kind for your filthy and nonsense statements. He can be trusted at all times. Yet, you let him and his son stay away from us?" Mrs. Jeon nagged at his husband.

"So.. You're still defending your first love?"

The two young children played around the garden. It seems like problems fade away as the two were together by each other's side.

Before, it was all just friendship but.. as the seasons changed... A sprout of love has grown.

"Ella! Watch out! There's a spider!" Seokjin warned her as she stayed still on her spot.

"Are you kidding? Don't scare me like this! Please Jinnie-ah." the little girl begged him as she trembled because of fear.

Seokjin just laughed as he was just pranking her. Her face expressed shock. She took a look at her surrounding, back, front, side and side. She realized she just got fooled.

"YAH!" she shouted as she attempted to attack Jin.

"I'm sorry!" Jin ran as fast as he can.

It was a winter morning. Cold breeze and snow will be the only ones felt and visible.

"Noona! Happy 14th birthday!" Jungkook, your 11-year-old brother, greeted you as you're face was still too sleepy.

"Oh.. Thanks." you got up and rubbed your eyes.

"By the way, Jin-hyung is here to greet you too."

You smiled as Jungkook said that. You turned to your left and witnessed Jin holding a cake, wearing the brightest smile and approaching to you.

"Happy birthday.. Ella!" He sang as the candles on the cake were shining like his eyes.

You felt your heart beating at a fast pace. You had no idea what it meant but... All you knew was..

It's because of Jin...
