Chapter 14

As said, Jin tried to avoid Hwang Ae Ra. He regretted everything he had done. He thought it was alright to hang out with her since she was Ella, all this time but not anymore. He could have thought twice.

"Okay class, do open your math books onto page 124. Also get your notebooks because we're going to answer some exercises in the book." Their math teacher, Mr. Choi, told them as all of the students obeyed.

"This seatwork we'll be answering will be by pairs. Your seatmates will be your pair. Do it all in 12 minutes. You may start now." Mr. Choi announced as all answered with their pairs

Jin started to worry. What if I'll mess up again? Would I be in trouble if I'd talk with her? He thought to himself. So, he did what was needed to be done.

Ae ra looked at him as she finds the questions hard and complicated. Should I ask for help? She thought.

"Minhy-"

"Mr. Choi!" Jin suddenly spoke and raised his hand.

Mr. Choi was startled as he sat properly and answered the boy.

"What is it? Mr. Kim Min Hyuk?" Jin stood up and cleared his throat.

"I want to switch partne-ah no, seatmates rather. Since, Ae ra and I are the top students of the class so it'd be unfair if we pair up so I'd rather help those who are in need." Jin said to Mr. Choi as the rest of the students looked at him in awe, especially the ladies.

"Oh? That's right! Go, choose whoever you want to be partners with." Mr. Choi said to him with a smile

"Thank you! You're the best teacher." he said and bowed as he looked for a partner.

He suddenly stopped to a girl sitting beside a guy who looked smart as well. As he looked at the short hair girl, he realized it was Min Soojung.

"Min Soojung." he sternly announced

Min Soojung and her partner, Jeon Jong Suk, turned their heads towards him.

"Uhm..w-what is it?" the girl was startled since she didn't expect this to happen

"Can you be my partner?" she looked at him and immediately nodded.

"Then, I'll go to Hwang Ae Ra." Jongsuk said as he grabbed his things and sat beside Ae ra

Jin showed his gratitude and sat beside the girl.

"Jungkook-ah...wake up.." a woman held his hand as he laid down on a bed, a hospital bed to be exact.

She held his palms tightly as her tears fell down as she hoped the boy will rise up from his sudden slumber.

"..n-noona?.." the boy suddenly woke up and spoke

"Jungkookie?" she got excited as she slightly stood up from where she was seated.

"Yes..noona?.."

She immediately hugged him.

"Aish, thank god you're awake." Ella hugged her brother.

"Awh..noona, you missed me? Haha." Ella backed away from their hug as she laughed

"Yah. I was worried that you suddenly fainted."

"So what happened?" I asked Jungkook as he took a deep breath and sighed

"Noona, you might think it's the worst idea but it makes the past accurate." I furrowed my eyebrows

"W-what do you m-mean?"

"The journal I got...it told me that the events in the past are changing because...you and Jin-hyung weren't doing the right things. You two failed the mission." as soon as he said those words, I was left confused.

"Wait what? What do you mean we failed? What happened Jungkook?" I asked him as I couldn't think properly anymore.

"Is Jin going to be there for a lifetime? Is he going to be stuck there forever? I-is h..he n-never coming back?" I never noticed but tears slowly fell from eyes. I regret everything. I forgot about our mission and..now? Everything's all my fault. I shouldn't have told him I was Ella. We could have waited when the time came for us to reveal ourselves, real ones.

"I don't know about that noona..but all I know is..."

"Is what Jungkook?"

"Jin will soon be married...."
