Chapter 17

As much as he wants to be with her again, the universe would not allow him. Kim Seok Jin is still in his father's teenage body. He couldn't stop thinking about how to escape from this mission. He wanted to go back to his time and be with Ella, the one he loves. Every night without her presence, he would spend them with meetings with the Min family just to plan out the wedding. Even if they had called it off, Mr. Min allowed it again and planned it. Jin would rather think about Ella, thinking how they would plan their wedding.

Jin never once loved Min Soojung. He was just forced to say yes to her confession.

Jin stood up from his seat as he headed towards his locker. He opened his locker and found a note. A pink sticky notes with hearts as its design.

"Meet me at the rooftop after school."

Jin smiled as he thought it was Aera who sent the letter to him. Thus, Jin immediately ran quickly to the roof top.

"Yah! Kim Minhyuk be careful!" Kim Joohyuk, his best friend, warned him.

Jin kept his smile as he had arrived to the roof top but his smile fell as he saw the girl.

The girl turned to Jin and she smiled brightly.

"Hey, Minhyuk-ssi." she greeted him but he didn't show any emotion.

"Soojung-ssi."

"Yeah..so uhmm.." Soojung gave him a letter in which he read it immediately

"Can we date?"

The note said as Jin folded the paper and placed it inside his pocket. He placed his hands inside his pockets and sighed.

"Yes it is then." Jin had a cold tone but the girl didn't seem to mind it. Soojung hugged him but he didn't.

And that's when he regretted everything.

Ever since Jin knew the Hwang Ae Ra in this time wasn't Ella anymore, he decided to date Min Soo Jung. It was hard but the journal says so. In addition, to be able to live a peaceful life in the future, Jin had to presevere and hold on to whatever pain he will feel along the way.

It was then English class. Mrs. Choi, their English teacher, came in with a pile of paper. Thus, all the students knew there was a test coming up and they prepared for it.

"All right class, today we are going to have a test. Prepare all your writing materials now." Mrs. Choi announced as she began to give the papers to the front row students so they could pass it to the back.

Mrs. Choi had her hands inside of the pockets of her blazer and began to walk around the classroom.

"Remember, no cheating, no talking, no borrowing of whatever, no passing of notes and most importantly...I hope everyone will do their best in this 95 item test." She announced as she was walking around the classroom.

The good part is Mrs. Choi gave them two hours to finish the test. So, they were given enough time to answer.

Thirty minutes have passed. Jin was still in the 56th item. He lost his focus and looked around the room. There he spotted Aera sleeping peacefully. Her arms were laid on her desk as her head laid on them. Jin was actually afraid if she would be caught sleeping.

"HWANG AE RA!" Jin flinched as Mrs. Choi suddenly raised her voice.

Mrs. Choi was already standing straight in front of Aera's desk. She began scolding her which made me question her actions as Mrs. Choi scolded her. Aera kept looking around as if she didn't know anything about her surroundings.

Is she Ella?

He thought to himself.

As I was home, I saw my mom cooking dinner for us. How I miss seeing this setup. My dad was sitting down on the couch as he watched another basketball game on the television. I was searching for my brother, well also known as Jeon Jungkook.

I went upstairs to place my bag inside my bedroom. I sat down on the edge of the bed as I was thinking a way to finish this mission.

*Knock*

A sudden knock suddenly was heard from the bedroom door.

"Come in." I announced
