Chapter two

John parked the car outside the rec room and looked to Evin ''Ready to go make friends?" Evin looked at him ''No.'' John smiled ''You'll get along.'' he said smiling then thought ''Well, you mihgt not like Georgia but, the other's you'll like.'' Evin chuckled before they got out, he locked the jeep as they walked away soon entering the building, John approched the front desk ''Reunion party?'' he asked, the guy nodded ''Follow me.'' he said, John looked to Evin before following the guy up some stairs ''Are we allowed drinks?'' Evin asked as they got to the top and contiued following him as they past a bar ''Never mind.'' he said finding the answer to his question.

The guy opened a door and let the two inside ''Hey you made it.'' Jean said running over hugging John ''Of course I did, I said I would.'' John looked over at Georgia, he shook his head and smiled ''This is Evin, Evin, this is Jean.'' he said, Jean smiled shaking Evin's hand ''I'm so happy to meet you, John's told me so much about you.'' Evin smiled and looked at John ''Of course he has.'' he smiled ''John?'' he turned around and smiled ''Hey Tori.'' he smiled and hugged her, Evin looked around seeing two other guy's on the other side of the table behind three girls talking. Jean smiled ''Wanna go say hi?'' Evin looked at him then smiled nodding a bit. John looked back seeing Evin following Jean to go speak to other's.

''How have you been?'' Tori asked, John nodded ''Pretty good, how about you?'' Tori smiled ''I've been good, I see you've changed.'' John tilted his head a bit confused ''Muscle's and tattoos?'' John smiled ''My muscle's aren't that different from what I had.'' Tori nodded ''Yeah but, I haven't seen you in a while.'' John looked at her. They turned hearing the guy's cheer something and John rolled his eyes ''Really guy's, why don't we head down and play some games?'' Georgia shook her head ''Their bringing us food.'' she said standing and looked at him, she passed by him to get some water, there was then tension, Ainsley looked to another girl sitting beside her.

''Mad cause you didn't invite me?'' John shook his head ''No, just disappointed you showed.'' he said and turned away sitting in a different seat, they looked to the door seeing it open once again ''Ashton!'' Jean smiled running over hugging him, John looked over seeing another familiar face come in, Ash looked over to John then went over before his friend did, Ash sat down ''I know what you're about to say.'' he said making sure he told him ''Why the hell is he here?'' Ash sighed ''He was at my house when I went home and he was crying so I... Invited him, I'm sorry.'' John sighed leaning back, Evin walked over and sat down in the seat on the other side of John.

''Who's that?'' John looked to him before looking at his hand's in front of him ''An old friend.'' he said while he walked to a chair sitting down, Jean walked over and turned the Tv down so they all could sit and eat without being distracted, the other guy's sat down while they came up  with the food Georgia mentioned, they grabbed a plate and started getting food on their plates some of them starving almost, they all joked around talking forgetting about tension that was obviously at the table, Evin looked around at them then at John ''Thank you.'' John smiled hearing his whisper ''That's what friends are for.'' he said and looked at him.

John looked past him at the Tv and was shocked at what he was seeing ''It's just the hospital John.'' Jordyn mentioned seeing he was watching the Tv, then it showed what he saw, Evin saw it this time ''Holy shit.'' Jean looked over to John ''Is that what I think it is?'' John slowly stood up staring at the screen ''Yeah.'' it showed a picture of someone infected with something, he was strapped down to a gurney being wheeled into a ambulance, John walked over and turned it up so they could hear what it was saying.

*All resident's in the nearby area are to stay inside at all time's until further notice, fi you can not stay where you are leave the area immediately and find a safe place to wait out until further notice. A viral outbreak has started in the cities of Los Angels, Seattle, Toronto, Calgary, and PEI. If you are in these cities please evacuate to the nearest military checkpoint, these are being set up outside every city.* John turned to them seeing they were all scared hearing this ''Is this really happening now?'' Amanda asked, John looked back to the Tv thinking of what to do not believing it was real.
