John moved thing's around in a cupboard before Monte came in and hugged him from behind ''Hello.'' he hummed, John smiled ''Hi.'' he said turning around just as the train suddenly stopped making them knock into the counter's and kiss. They pulled away hearing Nathan from the control room ''Damn it.'' they left and moved towards there and looked inside seeing Jean leave ''What happened?'' John asked, Carson and Ash turned around ''Track is blocked.'' John looked at Nathan who pulled the lever. They walked outside where Jean had went and they looked at the tracks seeing a truck ''Can't we move it?'' Monte asked leaning on the railing looking at Jean.
Jean sighed ''Even if we do we're out of fuel.'' he stated looking at him, John sighed and looked around seeing a highway behind them ''Is that the main highway?'' Monte and Jean turned looking back at it, Monte went around the two and looked on the other side of the train down the road ''Yeah, I see a sign for a nearby city.'' Jean smiled and looked at John ''We'll walk along it to make it to the safe zone.'' he said and headed back inside with the two behind him, they entered and the three were waiting John's instructions ''We're walking the rest of the way.'' he said and they nodded going to get everything, Jean left the two alone and headed out with them.
John looked down at the map with Monte ''What's wrong?'' he asked seeing something was up ''I don't wanna lose anyone else.'' Monte smiled resting his hand on John's shoulder ''We wont.'' John looked at him while Monte smiled, John sighed and hugged him while they herd someone coming back, Jean looked at them ''We're ready.'' Monte nodded and they headed out, they got off the train having been on it for a while and they started walking along the road, they reached the sign that Monte saw and read it 'Great Basin 124, Los Vegas 254, Arizona 542.' they looked at each other and sighed ''Look's like a long walk.'' Ash stated and started walking with Nathan, they all started their long walk down the road looking around for any means of transportation.
''It's still hot out here.'' Monte stated again as they walked down the empty road ''Take some stuff off.'' Jean looked at him, John looked over to him ''You hitting on my man?'' John asked, Jean smiled and looked ahead ''No, just getting you to admit it.'' John blushed and looked ahead while the other's smiled. Jean smiled and looked over to John ''Hey John, you sing right?'' John looked at him ''Yeah so do you, and Nathan, and Ashton.'' he said, Jean nodded ''Yes I know but you should start the song.'' John looked at him a bit shocked ''I'm not singing.'' Monte looked at him ''Why not?'' Carson looked at them hearing John sigh ''Because, I haven't sung anything in a couple years.'' Jean rolled his eye's and looked to him ''Please, you sing when you're at home, you sing when you're with friends.'' John looked at him before looking ahead at the road ''Can we just walk and talk, not sing.'' Monte pouted ''But I wanna hear you sing?'' John looked at him before sighing and hanging his head.
They all smiled and looked forward ''No one get's to get this close, you told me to fit right in where I was needed most, we had to wait, anticipate and come of age.'' John sang slightly, Jean smiled knowing this song ''We had to keep each other in a cage.'' John looked over to Jean hearing him sing along with him ''On a stage, on a stage, on a stage,'' they sang together ''Don't wanna give myself away to much... Touch.'' John sang finishing the sentence ''There's no good way to say goodbye, we got everything to lose, nothing to hide, we've got to give and take, and give and take.'' Ashton joined in ''It's best to save all you crave for the stage.'' Ash continued as they walked down the road.
