."Here's the document. You've got to sign here, Hime-cha," Isshin-san declared, pointing at the little space in the marriage document.
Nodding my head, I kept my gaze on Kurosaki-kun for just a little bit longer. He was staring at the rain through the windows, how I wished it'd stop raining. I wished you told me what was bothering him. Mostly I wished he show emotions, even anger was better than silent treatment she honours me with after a small conversation.
Gin and Urahara-san signed first from my side as witnesses. Then, from Kurosaki-kun's side, Isshin-San, followed by Ryukin-san.
Urahara-san told me about the terms that I would have 15% of the shares in the Kurosaki empire because of the fact that I would to be Kurosaki-kun's wife.
Before signing the papers, I stared one last time at Gin. He was staring at me with so much thought. I hated it. I wished he just told me he didn't like Kurosaki-kun so I'd talk to him. Convince me that I'd be happy with him but he said nothing. When I met him at the airport he told me how Kurosaki-kun had asked my hand in marriage."you two have my blessings Hime." Eventually Gin nodded his head, and I finally signed the documents.
"Ichigo!" Isshin-san called him.
Kurosaki-kun cocked his head in our direction, and the unblinking of his eyes, his face controlled in suppressed rage, terrified me, and for the first time, the pitter-pattered of rain against the roof tied a knot in my chest.
His gaze slid toward mine as his jaw clenched and his eyes frowned, perhaps reassessing what this marriage would mean.
He began to walk, and I looked down at my hands in my lap, curling my beige dress that reached above my knee. My heartbeat accelerated and I held my breath. I felt the sofa crunch as Kurosaki-Kun sat beside me.
He signed the papers and closed the file with a 'thud' before handing it over to Urahara-san across the table.
Urahara-san checked both the files, business-related and the marriage documents, while nodding his head approvingly, and gave the files to Ryukin-san.
"Well, Orihime." I met his eyes. Kurosaki-Kun's arms were stretched across the back of the sofa, his gaze at me. "We're married." and my cheeks turned redder. I dared myself to not look away. I couldn't help but stretch my lips in a huge smile.
He had the smallest glimmer behind his eyes, but before he could smile, he stood up, running his hand through his hair. He didn't try to fix his office shirt that hung loosely and unbuttoned before walking toward the door.
I wanted to tell him that he made me feel so happy. I thought starting now we would live together and little by little everything would work out between us. I let myself gaze at his retrieving back for a minute. 'We're married.' I thought. We would live together in one house. I had to think hard about the medicine names just to stop myself from glowing.
I wanted to stop him, but Isshin-san spoke, softly. "He's only nervous that his wife is the most beautiful woman in the world."
I glanced at him then back at the door from where Kurosaki-kun had just left. I felt the downpour become heavier The water splashed against his feet as he ran toward his car, until he drove off.
"Congratulations, Hime-cha." In the eleventh hour of the wedding ceremony, my uncle kissed my head and excused himself to check the final things that needed to be done.
Ryukin-san and Urahara-san also stood and congratulated me. "We'd love to catch up, but I guess we will be leaving too." Isshin-san looked at Urahara-san. "We don't want any complications, right."
