The door creaked open, and Shigaraki entered the small, dim room. Izuku was chained to the wall, with anti-quirk cuffs to disable him from using his quirk. "So," Shigaraki drawled, "How are you today, Izuku?"

The boy looked up from his long, messy mop of hair, and glared at the villain with bloodshot eyes. "It's Midoriya to you, scum. And how do you think I'm doing, being tortured for the past 2 weeks?"

"Heh. Always like you to make a smart comment."

"..."

"What, no retort? No spitting in my face and cursing me?"

"...just get the torture over with. I know that's why you came here. It's always why you come here." Izuku dropped his head, waiting.

"No torture today." Shigaraki said, causing Izuku to look up in shock. "W-what?" He rasped out, his throat scratchy from days of no food or water. "I said, no torture today. I've got something special planned that will make you join us finally." Shigaraki replied.

"I told you already so many times that I'm not going to become a villain."

"They forgot about you, Izuku. They aren't coming."

"It's Midoriya, Shigaraki! Midoriya. And the Heroes will come for me! They'll find me and rescue me-" Shigaraki punched Izuku in the gut, making Izuku cough and gasp for air.

"They won't come. Not now. Not ever." Shigaraki hissed. He pulled out a syringe, uncapped it, and grabbed Izuku's arm. "Hey, wait what are you doing!?" Izuku protested. "Making you shift." Shigaraki replied plainly, and shoved the needle into Izuku's arm, causing him to scream in pain.

Shigaraki unchained Izuku while he was shaking in pain, and he collapsed on the floor. Shigaraki grabbed the chain collar around Izuku's neck, and dragged him into the cage on the opposite side of the room, slamming the door shut behind Izuku.

Izuku writhed in pain, and his form began to contort and shift. "Excellent!" Shigaraki exclaimed. "I knew the serum Sensei gave me would work!"

Before Shigaraki, standing in the cage was no longer a teenage boy. There was instead a large siberian tiger with the front legs of a lion and the back half of its body a panther. A scar slipped around the creature's left leg, and another scar was visible slashing along the animal's right jawline, up to its nose. The animal roared, its emerald green eyes flashing angrily. "What... did you do to me!" The animal roared - it was Izuku.

"This is what you are truly capable of, Izuku. I just gave you the push you needed. Now you won't be able to turn back as long as I give you doses of the serum I just injected you with." Shigaraki explained gleefully. "You will be my cat, my monster that obeys my orders. Soon enough."

Izuku stalked around in the small cage, glaring at Shigaraki. "Never!" He spat, and launched at the front of the cage, clawing to get to Shigaraki. Backing away, Shigaraki pulled out a small controller and pressed a button on it, delivering a painful shock to Izuku.

Izuku collapsed from the pain, slumping to the cold, hard floor with a thump. His eyes slowly fluttered closed, as Shigaraki walked away. Shigaraki stopped at the doorframe, looked back at Izuku and said, "You will be mine to control. They always end up like that..." And as the door swung shut with finality, Izuku slipped into the darkness.

It's been 3 weeks since Izuku was forced into his animal hybrid form, making it a total of 5 weeks since he was captured. There has been not a word from the heroes - the public doesn't even know he is missing. There's not been a word from his friends, either, but Izuku hasn't given up hope that they'll come. Though he's slowly finding himself slipping into the darkness.
