"This is some good ramen!" Nezu exclaimed, and Aizawa nodded fervently, stuffing his mouth with noodles.
"How'f ou 'ind 'ish pwashe?" Aizawa asked Izuku in between bites.
"Translation to English, please?" Nezu asked.
"How did I find this place, you said?" Izuku confirmed, and Aizawa nodded again, taking in another mouthful. "Well, I used to go here a lot after school. It's been a while though, since I've been so busy lately..."
Nezu sighed, satisfied. "Another bowl, please!" The creature spoke to the man behind the counter, who nodded and went to making more for Nezu.
"The worker here must be new though, because the owners and workers that I know aren't here..." Izuku murmured.
"They're probably out." Nezu supplied.
"Probably." Izuku replied. "But how do you eat so much, Nezu-sensei!? You're like a bottomless pit!" Nezu chuckled in response.
"When I'm hungry for some good food, I can eat! Aizawa's the one I'd worry about though..." Nezu trailed off, gesturing to the black-haired man beside them who looked like a wild animal devouring its prey.
"Isn't that only his second bowl though?" Izuku asked.
"Actually, he was eating them so quickly, you didn't even notice he's on his 6th bowl!"
Izuku stared in shock at Aizawa, who finished and returned his bowl to the worker for a refill.
"What?" Aizawa complained. "It's ramen!"
Izuku laughed quietly to himself, and Nezu smiled good-naturedly.
"You know, I'm really grateful to have such great teachers like you guys. I used to be quirkless, you know, and when All Might shot me down like the countless others who did before him, I considered giving up. In some other universe, I'd probably have never discovered my quirk, or have become a hero." Izuku smiled, turning to the two pro heroes.
"I decided to ignore All Might though, and push against all of the prejudices and obstacles against me. I'm glad I did, and not just because I gained a quirk, or the chance to become a hero. I'm mostly really happy that I got to meet you two, who helped me grow and thrive. Even if you make it a living hell..."
Aizawa grinned sheepishly. "I only push you hard like that because I know you can do better. I know you can take it, and become better."
"Aizawa!" Nezu turned towards the tired hero, feigning an astonished expression. "I never knew you could be so sentimental!"
"Don't make me regret what I said, Nezu..." Aizawa looked away, but patted Izuku on the head briefly.
The worker placed down a fresh new bowl of ramen for each of the three of them, mumbling 'enjoy' to them.
"Enough with this sappy stuff." Aizawa declared. "Let's eat!"
"Oh... I'm so stuffed..." Aizawa groaned, one hand on his stomach. Nezu and Izuku slowly nodded in agreement.
"Thanks for the food, sir." Aizawa placed down some money, and the three slowly trudged out out the shop, taking in a breath of fresh outdoor air.
"Goodness, it's almost midnight." Nezu remarked. "I'd better get going back to UA. You'll bring Izuku to your place for the night, Aizawa?"
"Of course. He's still in his internship, so he must stay with me anyway." Aizawa replied.
