Sorry this update came a bit later! I turned out to be more sick than I thought... I'm good enough to write now though, so don't worry!

Back on with the original storyline...

Here's a recap!

----------------------------------------------------

PREVIOUSLY ON PRIMAL INSTINCT IZUKU...

After a fierce battle, Izuku transformed into an adorable kitten and licked Todoroki's face. Todoroki fainted from cuteness overload, making Izuku the winner of the match.

The crowd was roaring from the immense excitement that Midoriya Izuku always brought with him whenever he stepped into that ring.

We still don't know who will prevail in the conquest of Midoriya Izuku's love: Shinsou Hitoshi or Todoroki Shoto. But one thing's for certain...

Izuku never gets enough sleep.

----------------------------------------------------

Izuku sat patiently next to Todoroki's bedside in the nurse's office. He hadn't meant to use his ultimate move, but Todoroki was a strong foe who left him no choice. Izuku sighed as he remembered the consciousness leaving Todoroki's eyes as he collapsed in the arena. Izuku's strongest, most powerful move in his arsenal, Kitten Lick obliterated his opponent.

Sometimes it can even leave permanent damage. Izuku shuddered. His first test subject was currently in a mental asylum, giggling the words 'cute' and 'kitty' - even in his sleep. Poor guy.

Izuku got up and took a walk outside to get a drink before his match with Katsuki . The final battle, for who would get first place. Tokoyami placed 3rd so far, as Dark Shadow's weakness was light, and all Katsuki had to do was flash off mini explosions in his hands to keep Dark Shadow at bay.

Katsuki was confident, but Izuku knew that while he was strong, he was still a bully. And bullies never win. After all, Dad gave him permission to go all out. Recovery Girl wouldn't be happy with him, but it is what it is. Izuku would never let Katsuki off the hook so easy.

Izuku stopped. He started to giggle, which began to develop into a full-blown sadistic, creepy laugh that he picked up from his private teacher, Nezu, who was very proud of his 'evil laugh' success.

Terrifying, manical laughter filled the hallways, but suddenly Izuku stopped when he felt a tap on the shoulder.

Shinsou.

"Oh hey, Shinsou." Izuku smirked. Shinsou stared at him with a wide gaze.

"Oops, I was laughing again, wasn't I?" Izuku scratched the back on his head, embarrased. "Nezu-sensei was teaching me, and it kinda became a habit. I was thinking about what I'd to do Katsuki in a few minutes..." Izuku started to giggle a little again after that last statement, but quickly smothered it down.

Shinsou cleared his throat. "I'd like to talk to you about some possible strategies for using my quirk and becoming a hero... you seem like you're a smart, analytical person, so I wanted to know if you could help me out and give me some suggestions?"

Izuku grinned. "Sure, Shinsou!"

"Then... tomorrow, after school? I'll send you an address."

"Sure."

They exchanged numbers, and then Izuku left to prepare for his match, muttering the whole way, scaring away people roaming in the halls.

Within seconds, Izuku was standing in the arena, face to face with Bakugo. The last opponent. His former childhood friend - no, he was always a bully. Izuku narrowed his eyes at Bakugo, preparing for Midnight's signal to start.

Bakugo crouched, explosions popping in his hands, and he grinned evilly. "You're goin' down, Deku!"

"Not if you're in the ground first," Izuku shot back.

Midnight held up her whip.

Bakugo readied himself, and Izuku inched forwards a little.

Midnight swung down her whip.

Both boys eyes flashed in challenge.

"BEGIN!"

The two boys rushed forward, two fists swinging hard. One fist a huge, lion arm, and the other was propelled with explosive power. They connected, and there was a small shockwave that rippled through the stadium, attesting to the power that both boys held.

Izuku delivered a punch to Bakugo's stomach, and Bakugo flinched and stumbled backwards a little, giving Izuku the opportunity to swing his lion-powered left leg up to Bakugo's right side and strike Bakugo, making him stagger.

Izuku hopped back away from Bakugo, and observed his opponent. "I'm impressed you're still standing. Most people wouldn't be." Izuku grinned widely. "I guess that means I can kick it up a notch."

Izuku suddenly shot forward with alarming speed, and delivered a series of rapid blows the explosive boy. Bakugo tried to fight back, but it was impossible - he was being battered everywhere! The blows continued to rain down with lightning speed, until the flow was broken with a sharp uppercut to Bakugo's jaw.

Izuku jumped back a little again, removing himself from combat range. "Geez, you look wasted, and I didn't even use my quirk for that one!"

Bakugo's eyes widened as Bakugo realized what was about to happen.

Izuku grinned. "Here I come, Katsuki!"

So quickly, Izuku disappeared, leaving aroused dust in his place. Bakugo looked around wildly for Izuku. "Boo!" A voice whispered, hot breath shivering down Bakugo's spine. Bakugo spun around, only to be met with a furry fist in the face.

Bakugo was launched back, but he managed to grab onto the terrain, and keep himself from falling out of boundaries. He looked up to see Izuku's form, and started to sweat profusely.

Izuku was no longer a human, nor was he a feline. He looked like a werewolf, but the cat version. A weretiger. It looked like a tiger was standing on its two feet, except it had more human features. An 8-pack of abs was clearly shown, and its paws on its arms were more handlike, but with claws. Izuku's face looked very human, except for the stripes on it, razor-sharp teeth, and his pair of tiger ears.

Izuku smirked. "Like my new look? I call it my 'weretiger' form. Of course, I was working as hard as the rest of you to prepare for the sports festival. My damn dad made sure of it..." Izuku trailed off, shooting a glare in Aizawa's direction.

"Now enough chitchat," Izuku said. "Let's finish this."

Izuku ran forward, his steps laying heavily on the ground, each bringing a loud thump. Bakugo bravely ran forward also, and instead slid in between Izuku's legs to get behind him, taking advantage of the weretiger's largeness.

Bakugo reared back his right fist, and took a swing, going for a right hook. Izuku spun, and caught it. "I know your moves, Kacchan!" Izuku taunted, using his childhood name for Bakugo.

Izuku's fist tightened around Bakugo's own, and before Bakugo could even think 'Oh sh*t,' Izuku flung him into the sky. Izuku then struck Bakugo with a harsh, powerful kick, keeping him in the air. It soon turned into a game of 'Keep it Up', with Bakugo being the ball.

Finally, as Bakugo was struck into the air again, Izuku quickly dealt a punch to the boy's face, smashing him downward into the ground. He created a crater on impact, and smoke was even coming out of the cracked ground. Bakugo wheezed, and his eyes closed.

"M-MIDORIYA IZUKU IS THE WINNER!!!" Midnight announced, and there was complete silence from the audience. A few seconds passed. Then the crowd burst into applause, whistles, cheers!

Izuku simply walked out of the stadium, yawning, and leaving a (literally) smoking Bakugo.
