"AAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!" A guttural roar erupted from the middle of the ocean, scaring away a few pelippers and wingulls flying by.
Cough cough.
I meant seagulls (I've been playing too much Pokémon...).
Izuku sat down on his raft in frustration. "It's obvious that Aizawa has kidnapped me and put me in the middle of the ocean to try and figure out how to get to land without dying. Why? Because that's just the kind of sick thing he'd do. I haven't forgotten about those reports- HEY! SEAGULL! SHUT UP, WILL YOU? I'M TRYING TO TALK TO MYSELF!"
"SqUaKK!" The wingull-I mean seagull responded sassily, and then flew off into the distance.
"Hmm... at least he left me this ramen packet... even though I can't eat it." Izuku sighed, and then sat down, looking into the distance.
~Splash~
"Hmm...?" Izuku glanced over the raft, looking into the water for the source of the sound.
~ Splashy Splash ~
"Hello?" Izuku ventured cautiously.
Suddenly, the sea erupted with small fish with whiskers, who surged from the sea and began to float all around Izuku's raft. There were a couple of thousand present, and the all looked at Izuku expectantly.
A large whiskered fish came forward, and the rest made way for the fish.
"Greetings, Young Master. It has been a while since we've sensed a feline presence near these waters. Especially one as royal as your own." The large fish spoke, yes, spoke.
Izuku stared at the fish with a puzzled look. "Umm... how can I understand you? What are you? How did you know about my quirk? What do you want from me? And-"
The fish chuckled, which was weird because Izuku never knew fish could chuckle. "We are a noble tribe of Catfish. My name is Bluefurd. We sensed your presence, and answered your call."
"My... call?"
"Yes," The fish continued, "It was kind of hard to miss. You made quite a noise when you came to. We were following your raft for a while in case you wanted assistance with anything."
"Oh." Izuku accepted this weird news well.
"Well, Young Master? Anything you need from us?" Bluefurd inquired again.
"Hmm..." Izuku looked down at the ramen packet in his hand. "Yes, actually."
"Our help may not come without a price, Lord." Bluefurd warned.
"I understand. But rest assured, I will make proper arrangements." Izuku grinned.
"You see, I have a plan to get myself back to Japan."
There was a soft breeze. Quiet, peaceful. Just what Aizawa wanted...
"Aizawa." Nezu broke the silence, and Aizawa cracked an eye open to look at Nezu.
"It's been a couple of hours since we've been sitting here, looking at the water, and you haven't said anything. Please, at least tell me how a ramen packet will save poor Izuku from a premature death by drowning, dehydration, and/or starvation."
Aizawa sighed - a long, lengthy sigh that conveyed his mingled tiredness and slight worry for his pupil. "I trust Izuku. He will come back safely probably hopefully maybe."
"That doesn't sound very sure."
"It's not supposed to be maybe sort of hopefully probably."
"Now that just doesn't make sense."
