Hey, the title rhymes! Cool!
Also, the title image is for what sorta happened the last two chapters...
"Beep. Beep. Beep."
Was the sound Izuku awoke to. His eyes fluttered open, and he immediately tried to sit up, only to wince in pain and fall back onto his hospital bed. His heart monitor beeped angrily at him, and nurses flooded into the room, checking on him and taking his vitals, while exclaiming to each other, "he's awake! The hot guy in room 64 is awake!"
'Huh? Most people don't say I'm good looking because my hair usually steers them away...' Izuku thought to himself.
"Izuku." A dark voice deadpanned, and all of the nurses immediately stopped what they were doing and slowly backed out of the room in fright. "Izuku." The voice said once more, and a banana-colored creature slithered from the ceiling where it was hanging somehow and flopped onto the floor and scuttled over to Izuku's bed. The creature gracefully flopped its way over to Izuku somehow, and perked upright when it got to his bedside. A part of it zipped open, revealing Aizawa's tired. "Hello." He whispered in a half-awake, half-asleep voice.
"Da- Aizawa..." Izuku said, but Aizawa stopped him. "I told you it's perfectly fine for you to call me dad, kid. Go on."
"Okay... Dad. Umm, I have questions. One, where am I? Two, what happened? And three, why does my head feel weirdly lighter?" Izuku asked, and Aizawa looked down in guilt at the last question he asked.
"Well, kid, you're in Musutafu General Hospital, and you've been out for a week since you came to UA as an... umm... well we don't really know what you were, but the villains clearly did something to you. Listen, kid," Aizawa continued, "the heroes never stopped searching for you. We never gave up on you, it's just that the villains planted many secret hideouts that the used as decoys, and with the Sports Festival coming up, a lot of the teachers at UA were busy, me included."
"Okay that makes sense... wait UA SPORTS FESTIVAL!!?? Oh, oww... oww oww oww!" Izuku exclaimed, causing a few nurses to scuttle in and poke him with some needles that probably contained pain numbing and stuff that would calm him down.
"Yep, the UA Sports Festival is coming around the corner - you still have some time to prepare, kid, because it's been postponed 3 weeks from now because of your health and such..." Aizawa reassured him, calming Izuku down.
"Thank the Gods!" Izuku sighed. (Not gods, Izuku. GOD singular. I AM GOD MWAHAHHAHA)
"Hey, D-Dad, you never said why my head felt lighter..." Izuku reminded Aizawa, who got that guilty look again.
"Umm, well, you see, Izuku, you had a bafd wound on your head, so in order to treat it better, the doctors had to... well..."
Izuku waited impatiently. "Just spit it out!"
Aizawa knew how sensitive Izuku was about his hair. Heck, Aizawa felt the same way. That's why this was so scary.
"Umm... here's a mirror. It's easier to show you than tell you..." Aizawa passed Izuku a mirror and backed away sheepishly.
Izuku stared at his reflection.
He stared some more.
And then he stared a little more.
"WHAT THE F***! I'M F***ING PISSED WHY DID THEY **** AND *** MY SH**** HAIR!!!" Izuku went on, letting out a stream of colorful and creative language. Aizawa was almost impressed with Izuku's creativity and detail with his profanity.
