Joseph 'Switch' Musse:
"What's goin on?" I asked wiping my tears as Trinity led me into the room.
"A brain tumor she had caused her to fall into a coma, I had to do a surgery and she's still in a coma." She explained, she had red eyes like she had been crying. "You have to sign the birth certificate and name her." She said as she picked a sleeping Mercy up from out of her crib.
I clenched my jaw feeling my eyes burn again, "I know it's hard but she needs you to be strong right now, okay?" She said to me, I nodded as she handed me Mercy.
I looked down at her and the tears that I was fighting came rolling down my cheek. She opened her eyes looking back up at me, she had Zaria's eyes. "Hi princess." I said smiling down at her. Her arms were up in the air, I used my finger to place in her hand and she gripped that finger tightly. Her baby babbles warmed my heart and that toothless smile made me smile again.
I placed a kiss on her nose lingering the kiss and she placed her hands over my ears giggling. I fell in love, "Here's the birth certificate fill everything in and just hit the blue button on the remote and I'll come when you're done. I have to go tell Bey and Chris what's going on."
I nodded taking a seat in the chair pulling the table close enough for me to write on. I grabbed the pen taking a deep breath.
Mercy Giselle Musse-Brown
I wrote her full name out on the line before signing where it asks for the father's name. I looked over at Zaria, her eyes were closed and she was breathing, I was hoping she would just wake up. How was I supposed to do this without her? I moved the table from in front of me and scooted the chair closer to the bed. I ran my fingers through her hair, "She is beautiful Zar, thank you so much baby." I felt a lump in my throat. "You gotta pull through so we can raise her together baby."
Mercy started babbling again and I chuckled, "You heard your daughter wake yo ass up she wants her mom." I said, and she continued on babbling.
