Zahir Maurice Brown:

"Auntie K seriously?" I said as she dribbled the ball between her legs.

"Okay have I stayed with a cheater before? Yes. Did I regret it each and every time? Yes. But hey that's just my experience." She said tossing the call back and forth between each hand.

"There's this girl, I'm close to her and I always saw her as a good friend." I said I didn't want her to know it was Brielle because the last guy that kissed Brielle and didn't call her got shot in the foot. Luckily my dad knows some higher ups and got her out of trouble and the guy didn't press charges. "We kinda had a moment yesterday and I'm confused but I think I have feelings there."

"Well why don't you know?"

"I-I guess I do have feelings for her." I had finally admitted out loud.

"And you don't know if you want to pursue her or stay with your wife." She said

"Right. I think I'm done with April but I see myself still going back to her. I just think it's because we just broke up."

"There is always a way to know." She said shooting a three. I heard the swish sound and caught the ball bouncing it to her. "Which one is good for you?"

"Well April supports me and she's by my side at business events. She runs some of the financial shit, she's lazy when it comes to things around the house. She's a uhm I don't know because she's not terrible she's just uhm..."

"She's what I like to call only good for the public eye. Look good with her on your arm in public, she's pretty, she's black, the brown legacy is all about black excellence you are next to take over your dad's business you're smart you're 21 about to take the bar exam, she's a great chick for the public eye and the public eye only."

"Yeah I guess so.." I said nodding.

"And the other one? What's she like?"

"She's always on my ass about every single thing I do, if I even do much as breathe wrong she's on my ass. She's a handful, but she knew something was up and I told her about April she let me cry about it she didn't judge. She's neat there's a certain way she likes her blanket folded it's weird but it's neat. She fixes my clothes and makes sure I ain't goin no where looking crazy cause I admit I'm a little unfashionable at times and there she go on my ass." I said and we both chuckled.

"She crazy She a keeper, crazy pussy is the best pussy nephew I'm telling you. I should know." She said doing a slight chuckle doing a dance.

"That's all you got crazy pussy is the best pussy?"

"If you get with the crazy one I bet you can fire all your maids and cooks boom saving money on monthly bills. She got a job?"

"Nah but she has her own money."

"There you go bills split down the middle, sounds like financial security is great just in case anything happens. She on yo ass about what you wearing? You know you looking good for red carpet events with her on your arm cause one thing about the real black queens? They ain't goin no where lookin no any kinda way and if you rolling with her? You damn sure ain't lookin no hot ass mess. She clean, she cook, sounds like the perfect at home wife and public eye wife. Sounds like real black excellence and not putting on facade for the cameras. Sounds like happiness and balance."

I sighed, "So now I gotta get a divorce at 21." I laughed shaking my head.

"Yea, it's a good thing ya mama made her ass sign that prenup. Ion know how she did it but I know when she went over there she left the girl crying ya mama don't play about yo ass that's who you gotta worry about. Cause if Bey don't like her? Then here come the best bitches and the best bitches Jr up the woman ass and it's highly uncomfortable." I laughed at her joke about my mom, and my other aunts and Brielle and Zaria.

"Best Bitches and best bitches jr?" I say as I stopped laughing

"Gotta call it how you see it Za that's all I'm saying." She passed me the ball and I dribbled it.

"Now get yo ball and get yo sweaty ass up out my gym and go file for divorce and go get ya real wife." She said shooing me away. She bought this gym with the intentions on turning into a clinic for Auntie Trin but Auntie Trin changed her mind about this building and wanted another one so she bought that one for her and made this a gym.

Once I got to my parents house, my mom was moaning loud as hell. I shook my head, they always being nasty. Within seconds of me walking into the house in cane Brielle, and Zaria. I had been avoiding Brielle, and now I was caught and I had no choice but to face her.

"Zahir Maurice Brown." Brielle gritted, I dropped my head the moment she grabbed me up by my shirt dragging me into the kitchen. "You're so lucky I don't want anybody to know about us or I woulda told my mom how much of an asshole you're being!" She gritted at me.

"Look it ain't even like that, I just got out of a marriage Bri. I'm confused, all this time I've thought of you as a sister and then reality settled in. If we do this it's gone take time Brielle, I gotta heal properly cause I ain't tryina hurt you. The last thing I wanna do is hurt you Brielle, I'm not like all these other niggas."

"I know Za, I know what I'm getting into and I want it. I'm here, I'm always here whenever you need somebody I'm the first person there. I know you Za, and I know it'll take time for us to be together, I waited 5 years I can wait longer."

"I swear I'm not gone hurt you Brielle, there will be no other woman I just gotta figure out this shit with April." I promised her and she nodded, I gripped her chin placing a soft, lingering peck on her lips.

"Don't ignore me again Zahir, talk to me I'm always your best friend first baby boy." She spoke softly against my lips. As her hands gripped a handful of my shirt pulling me closer to her.
