Ilang linggo ang lumipas. Gumagaling ako sa studies ko. Nahihilo parin ako minsan pero hindi naman ako nagpapagod. Hindi pa kami gaanong busy pero may mga tinatapos kaming activities. I still have to paint the thing that reflects me. Hindi ko parin alam hanggang ngayon kung ano ang ipipinta ko. We still have 3 months to submit it. Saka ko na lang iisipin yon.
Madalas kaming magkasama ni Miracle mag-lunch. Pero pag weekends at free time ay si Chase ang kasama ko. I'm happy about that pero hindi ko parin maiwasan maging malungkot. Pag magtatanong ako tungkol kay Allison or kaya i-oopen ko yung topic na yun ay iniiwasan niya kaya hindi na lang muna ako umiimik tungkol don.

And that's what I did. I came here for Chase, right? Saka ko na lang iisipin ang lahat kapag alam kong pwede na. Lagi kaming magkasama ni Chase. Everyone thinks we're a couple. He's so sweet to me, like always. We still don't have any label, but I'm happy with what's happening right now. I'm satisfied.
"Kumain ka pa." sabi niya habang nasa favorite fast-food restaurant namin.
"Ikaw rin." sabi ko naman. Ngumiti siya at nagpatuloy sa pagkain.
"Nga pala, three days kitang hindi makikita." He pouted. Kumunot-ang noo ko as why. "I have something to do in States. May aasikasuhin lang ako."
"Oh, okay. Nandyan naman si Miracle eh." I dipped my fries on my sundae and then ate it.
"Don't cheat on me, ha?" Biro niya.
Napatawa ako. "As if I'm the one doing it. And duh, we are not a thing." I joked.
"Not yet." sabi naman niya.
Pagkatapos namin kumain ay gumala muna kami at umuwi na. Sunday ngayon kaya nagyaya akong umuwi ng maaga. Pumayag naman siya.
"When will you go to States?" tanong ko.
"Tuesday pa naman." sagot niya.
"Ah. I thought you'll leave tomorrow." I said without looking at him.
He's still driving and I'm more focused on my cellphone.
"Do you really want me to leave that soon?" I stopped scrolling through my phone and looked at him.
He's waiting for my answer. Tsk, of course! Not.
"Uh, no." Napangiti siya. "What?"
"I can feel it, Reign." Binaba ko ang phone ko at mas tiningnan siya.
"Feel what?" tanong ko.
"I'm really serious about this. About you. This is the first time I've liked a girl so much." Pagkasabi niyang iyon ay pinark niya ang kotse niya sa harap ng bahay namin ni Brie. Hindi ako nakaimik. Although paiyak na ako, nanatili parin akong nakangiti. Sabi ko nga diba, handa akong masaktan makasama ka lang.
"We're here. Bye, Reign. See you tomorrow." He said, hyped. Bumaba naman na ako at nag-wave na lang.
I saw him leave and as he turned his car on the right turn, my tears fell down like raindrops. Fast and heavy. I can't believe he said that. I'll still accept him even though it cuts my heart every time he say those words about the original me. And here I am, stupidly in love with what I'm doing even though it will destroy me in the end. I just stood still for a few minutes where he left me, crying like an idiot. Yun na lang ang kaya kong gawin.
