"What did you do to her? I told you not to hurt her!"
A familiar voice crept into my ears as I opened my eyes and found myself in an unknown place. I was lying in a bed with my hands tied up together as well as my feet.
"Sorry, boss. Masyado siyang maingay."
Hindi ko maibo ang mga kamay ko, maski pag-imik ay hindi ko magawa. A cloth was placed in my mouth, preventing me to make a single sound.
"That doesn't mean you can hurt her, you idiot! That's the girl I will marry, do you think I want her to walk down the aisle with bruises like that? How am I supposed to marry her tomorrow?"
Nanlaki ang mata ko nang makita ko si Chase na nakaupo sa harap ko, kausap ang mga taong nasa likod niya habang nakatingin sa'kin.
"Oh, you're awake." He grinned like a devil.
I glared at him with so much hate and tried to talk. "Where am I? What did you to me?" But it sounded different.
He stood up and bent down to face me properly. He held my chin up so he can look at my face better and placed my loose hair behind my ear. Sinubukan kong ilayo ang mukha ko sa kanya ngunit hinawakan niya ang buhok ko.
"Don't be so shy, Allison. It's me, your boyfriend." He chuckled annoyingly and stared at me. "I am your boyfriend, Allison. Ako ang nauna," seryosong sabi niya.
I didn't talked. I saw pain in his eyes but I couldn't tell if that's real.
Ngumiti siya at tinanggal ang nakalagay sa bibig ko ngunit hindi ako nagsalita. I was filled with fear, anger and confusion. Hindi ko alam kung bakit niya ginagawa 'to. But I hope he has a good reason for this.
"No. You're not, Chase. You're my friend. You're a good guy. You were. I felt something towards you but it was just friendly love," naluluhang sambit ko.
I saw his jaw clenched and chuckled sarcastically at me. "Damn, friendly love? Is that how you reject me?" His eyebrows shot up.
"I've rejected you already, Chase. I thought we talked things out," I said with my lips trembling.
"No, you talked and I, I want you to come back to me." He said in despair but with anger in his eyes.
"But I don't and I won't. I love Heath and how things are now. I thought you were okay," sabi ko ngunit parang nairita siya. His eyes were a bit red and he was acting differently than his normal form.
Napatawa ulit siya. "I won't let you go back to him," mariing sabi niya.
"You don't get to decide about that! It's my life and you don't even liked me in the first place! All of this was just to get back at your brother and guess what, you lied to me! You were the one who used me and fooled me just to hurt Heath but you know what, again, I'm glad I didn't believed you! Chase, you already have a good life! Why ruin someone else'?" Halos hiningal ako sa pagsigaw ko.
