"I'm home!" Brie yelled as she entered the house. She received a glare from me and told her to shut up because Heath was still sleeping.
Instead of saying sorry, she gave me a teasing look. Agad akong ngumiti kay Heath nang imulat niya ang mata niya, sa'kin kasi agad siya nakatingin. It was really obvious that he fell asleep. I felt bad, it's my fault that he got tired.
"Hey, do you want to stay for dinner?" I asked.
He yawned and nodded.
"Okay. I'll prepare something," sabi ko. It's the only way I can repay him for helping me earlier at isa pa, gusto ko din naman siyang ipagluto. I was happy that we didn't argue earlier and that was one of the best moments with him. I can't wait to have more of that with him.
"Do you want any help?"
Umiling ako. "No, it's fine. I want to cook for you tonight," sabi ko. "Any specific food you want to eat?"
Sa hindi inaasahang pagkakataon, marahan niya akong hinila at binigyan ng isang halik sa pisngi. Nagulat ako at hindi nakagalaw ng ayos, kinakabahan. Ngunit nang umimik siya, nanlambot ang puso ko.
"Basta luto mo. Thanks, babe."
I smiled cutely, stood up and walked towards the kitchen after I told Heath to lay in the sofa if he's still sleepy. Brie was amusingly smiling at me, sitting in one of the kitchen stools. Oh, did she see that?
"What was that?" Nakangising tanong niya.
Umirap ako, hindi tinitingnan ang mga mata niya. "What was what?"
Inismiran niya ako na para bang alam ang pinaka-malupit kong sikreto. "Okay, chika mo sa'ken mamaya kung hindi, sasabihin ko sa Filipino fans mo ang address na'tin." She threatened me as if she won't be affected by it.
"How about you share yours and Dark's relationship first to me, yeah?" I fired back which made her zipped her mouth. I smirked at her and open the fridge, trying to pick what I should prepare.
I look back at Brie who was busy tapping into her phone, looking a bit competitive. "What are you doing?"
Pinakita niya sa'kin ang phone niya. "Flappy bird," nguso niya. "Bakit?"
Napailing ako sa pinakita niya. "What do you want for dinner?"
Napatigil siya sa paglalaro at napaisip. "Uh, chopsuey?"
Tumingin ulit ako sa kung anong nasa ref at mabuti na lang dahil kompleto ang ingredients. I was actually craving for it the other day. Buti naisipan niyang i-suggest. While I started preparing, Brie excused herself to shower. Hindi ko na naman naitanong sa kanya kung saan siya galing. Feeling ko napaka-walang kwenta kong pinsan.
