"Stop! I wanna go home!" Paulit-ulit kong sigaw sa pangatlo naming ride ni Heath. Papatayin yata ako neto sa takot 'e.
We were riding the Space Shuttle. He was just beside me, laughing at my every reaction whenever I scream. He was like watching a movie in the theater, eating popcorn and enjoying the scene. I was like the main character in a horror movie that was about to be killed by a serial killer, screaming for my life.
My gosh, nakakahiya! Buti na lang at walang masyadong tao dito sa EK, nakakapagtaka nga lang. I thought this place is famous and one of the tourist spots because why wouldn't it be? Unless, he paid big amount enough to let few people inside the EK. But why would he do that?
Napatigil ako sa pag-irit ko at seryosong tumingin sa kanya habang mabagal pa ang andar ng ride na sinasakyan namin. He smiled at me and looked at the view.
Well, I guess not.
"Where to ride next?" Excited niyang sabi pagkababa namin sa Space Shuttle.
My heart was beating so fast because of that damn ride and yet he wants to ride another one agad.
I glared at him. "Do you want me to die?"
He laughed and put his arms around my shoulder. "Let's eat first. Mamaya ulit ang rides," nakangiting sambit niya saka nagsimulang naglakad, dala-dala ako dahil nasa balikat ko ang braso niya.
I didn't complain because I was hungry too. But I won't eat too much knowing he would take me to ride again. Hindi man lang mapagod. Samantalang ako ay pagod na pagod kakasigaw.
"What do you want to eat?" tanong niya nang makarating kami sa isang stall.
Ngumuso ako, nakatingin sa mga pagkain na nasa harapan namin. "Anything would do," sagot ko.
Since kokonti lang ang tao ay madali lang ako nakahanap ng upuan. Heath ordered something while I looked for our table. I removed my cap and fixed my hair. Kinalkal ko ang bag ko para maghanap ng ipit pero wala akong nahanap. I sighed heavily, gave up finding some ponytail in my bag.
I checked my phone while waiting for the food. Nakita kong nag-message si Daddy sa'kin kaya sinagot ko agad siya pagkakita ko. He asked me where I am and the next message was 'enjoy ur day'. I figured maybe Brie told my father where I was and who I'm with. He didn't even bother asking me who I'm with.
Sinulyapan ko si Heath kung nasaan siya kanina pero wala na siya doon. Nataranta agad ako at tinago ang phone sa loob ang bag. Dumating na ang pagkain namin pero siya ay wala. Lilingon pa lang ako sa likod ko nang may humawak sa buhok ko.
"Don't move," seryosong sabi niya.
He scooped my short hair and tied it up with a ponytail. I didn't move the whole time he's fixing my hair. I can hear my heartbeat and kept on looking around, noticing that some people were looking at us. Anong tini-tingin-tingin nila? Are they looking at Heath? Huh, these teenage girls!
