Of course, if I'm to talk about a pirate crew I can't leave out the most important member of the crew...the Captain. The captain is actually picked and chosen by the other members of the crew and everybody chose Kim Hongjoong. He indeed lives up to his role as the captain of the ATEEZ pirate crew. Hongjoong is very brave and bold. He also really cares about his crew members and believes in everyone's potential.

Hongjoong comes up to the quarterdeck to join Yeosang and I by the steering wheel. I couldn't help but notice how stressed Yeosang looked as he kept flipping the map upside down and right side up. So, I went to Hongjoong and asked him to talk to Yeosang.

"What's going on, Yeosang?" Hongjoong asks him.

Yeosang sighs and puts his map down, "I-i...it's just...it's just that it's been a week now and according to my calculations we should've been arriving today! Did I...get us lost?"

Hongjoong takes his map and looks at it for a bit. He also takes out a compass from his coat pocket and examines the arrow. He looks up at the left and right side of the ship then smiles at Yeosang.

"Turn the ship southwest and we'll be there within approximately six more hours by the looks of the sun in the sky. You're doing so well Yeosang, just trust your instincts," he tells him and gives him the map back.

"Aye, aye, captain! Thanks." Yeosang says and slightly turns the stirring wheel to turn the ship to the direction Hongjoong suggested.

I've always thought that pirate captains were brutal and mean people that ruled over those on his ship, but Hongjoong is the complete opposite. He may look intimidating at times, but he has a very soft heart. He's a very kind captain. If someone asks him something, he'll put everything down and put that person first. He always has a sweet smile that he shows whenever he's around the other crew members.

Although there are times where he is strict to everyone, that's just because he just wants to maintain order around the ship but at the end of the day, he's everyone's brother.

Everyone was out on the main deck playing a new game that Wooyoung and Jongho created, shuffleboard. They drew squares and numbers on the deck floor and with sticks and a cleaning brush, they push the brush into one of the squares with numbers, everyone finds it to be a fun game.

When everyone cheers for Wooyoung because he got a high score, we all turn our heads as we hear a familiar pair of boots walking across the deck.

"Yo ho ho! Excuse me?! Why is nobody on duty right now? Huh?! We're getting closer to our destination! You all should be preparing for our arrival." Hongjoong says strictly as he approaches all of us.

Everyone is silent at first until the youngest goes up to him and hands him his stick.

"We're playing shuffleboard, captain. Do you want to play?" Jongho said.

Hongjoong gives him a hard stare for a bit and everyone was silent.

"...Hey, next time you make a new game alert your hyung huh! Of course, I want to play too!" Hongjoong says playfully and ruffles Jongho's hair with a grin.

Laughs and cheers went around everyone as Hongjoong took the stick and joined us all in the game.

Hongjoong is really something else. He's not only got an interesting personality, but he's also very talented as well. A few times I catch him practicing his sword fighting and pistol shooting skills to a dummy on the deck. He's very quick and agile. He's also very smart. a few times I've had to stop by his quarters and I see him writing in a journal. Turns out, he practices other kingdom's languages so when he makes trades he can communicate on behalf of his crew to other crews.
