𝓗𝓐𝓛𝓐 𝓗𝓐𝓛𝓐

The next morning we were well on our way back to KQ Kingdom. A part of me was excited to come home, to see the people, the beauty of my land, and of course, my home in the castle. I missed my brother and I couldn't wait to see him. However, another part of me didn't want this adventure to end. Waking up to the salty sea air, listening to the sound of the ocean waves, and of course, getting a chance to hang around a pirate crew whom at this point have become my close friends.

I sigh as I leaned against the ship rail looking out at the blue sea. I feel a little torn between feelings and choices right now. Am I really ready to go home or not? Do I really feel the same way about Seonghwa or Hongjoong? Suddenly, I hear a squawk and I see a  white parrot land on the rail a few feet away from me. I blink my eyes a few times trying to process what I'm looking at since we're too far from land now for birds to fly down here.

"Durong?! Durong ah! Where are you?!" I hear Yeosang call out as he comes up from below the ship.

He sees the parrot and he sighs with relief coming over to it and letting it hop on his arm.

"Yeosang, I didn't know you had a pet!" I tell him as he pets the bird.

He smiles at me, "Oh I just bought him last night! I've always liked things that fly and this little guy caught my eye so I bought it!"

"It's very pretty!"

"Squawk! Princess Iridessa is pretty! Squawk!!" The parrot squawks making me surprised.

Yeosang laughs and feeds it a cracker, "I'm teaching him compliments haha!"

"Haha, what a gentlebird! Why thank you," I say and pet its head as it ate the cracker.

"Squawk!!! Yeosang thinks Seonghwa hyung is very handsome! Squawk!!" The bird said and Yeosang immediately closed its beak and gave me a nervous laugh.

"Haha uh what?!...I-it picks up things sometimes I guess, I'm gonna go now princess, bye!" Yeosang says then quickly goes back down to the hold.

I laugh and shake my head then look back out to the quiet sea. But, the silence goes away pretty quickly when San, Wooyoung, Yunho, Mingi, and Jongho come up from the ship's hold, loud and joking around as always.

"Heyy!!! It's Dessa!! How was your night out last night?!" San asks me as they all come over to me.

"Who did she go with again?" Jongho asks making everyone smirk.

"SEONGHWA!!~" The rest of them teases making me look down to hide my slight blush.

Suddenly the captain's quarter door opens and out comes Seonghwa himself, we all turn and look at him as he all looks at us all in confusion.

"I heard my name? Is everything alright?" He asks us.

"Aye hyung! We're all okay!" Wooyoung tells him with a sweet grin as the others snicker.

"O-oh okay. Well, keep it down, I'm having a meeting with the captain."

"Aye! Aye!" We tell him and the boys try to hold in their laughter.

Seonghwa and I lock eye contact for a bit and he smiles at me giving me a wink before returning back into the quarters. When the door closes the others start freaking out and cheering me on with Seonghwa.

"Shh!! Guys! Stop being so loud!! Nothing happened with Seonghwa and I! I swear!! Plus, I-I don't know if I even like him like that."

As they all continue to snicker, I notice Mingi stops and stares at something behind me.

He shushes the guys and he points behind me, "Guys!! Sail ho! There's a ship in the distance and it looks like it's headed this way."

We all turn our attention out to the sea and indeed we see a big ship coming toward us and fast. I notice the big red and black striped pirate flag on it and I recognize it as the pirate ship from the kingdom.
