Chapter 26

Skylar (pov)

"Skylar?" I hear from downstairs. "Yes" i yelled back. "I brought dinner." He didn't have to say that twice. I ran downstairs. "What's for dinner?" I ask  walking in. "Lasagna with a side of salad and garlic bread." He said heating up the lasagna. "Yumm. I'll pass on the salad." I said. "Skylar. You'll eat everything including the salad." He said. "Fine. Fine." I say.  We finish dinner. "I hear your going out to the market tomorrow?" He ask heading to the living room. "Yea. Chrissy says we need to stock up on some things. It's going to be a nightmare." I said feeling the life outta me draining already. He gave me a puzzled look.

"What are we watching tonight?" I ask. It's became like a routine now. After dinner we would either talk or watch a movie. He shrugs.  "You pick." He said.  "Goodfellas" I shouted. "Really? No sappy chick flick." He ask sitting down. "I'm not like every girl. Plus this is second my favorite movie." I reply looking for it on vudu. "What's your first?" He ask. I turn to him and turn back. "What's your first." I question him back. "It's gotta be hacksaw ridge. Or any marvel movie. Avengers. Spiderman and so on. What's your first favorite movie." He ask again.

"Mulan." I replied lowly. He laugh a little. "Mulan as in the cartoon?" He ask. "Shhhh movie starting." We were half way through the movie i was dozing off.   My eyes were getting droopy. Then i felt my head hit Kieran shoulder. "Sorry." I said pulling my head off his shoulder. "Little one if your tired we can call it a night." Kieran said still watching thr movie. "No I'll finish it." I said yawning. After a few minutes. My eyes became heavy again. I tried to keep them open, but that was a failed.

I was so tired I didn't care anymore. I layed my head on my mate shoulder. And closed my eyes. "I'm just gonna rest  my eyes for a few minutes." I said yawning. I felt his arms around my shoulder as he pulled me in closer to his chest. I was to tired to say anything. So I just turn over to my side and wrap my arms around his waist and Took his scent in. I felt so protected in his arms. I slowly drifted off to sleep.

I woke up in my bed the next day. I felt so refreshed and energized. I got and head for the bathroom. I walk out ready to start my day and then I remember... I'll be with Chrissy today. I walk downstairs. "Morning." I said sitting down. "Morning. Did you sleep well?" Kieran ask. "Yeah. Can I have cereal today?" I ask my mate. "Sure. You feeling okay?" He ask. "Yea. I don't wanna throw up everything I ate once I see Chrissy." Kirean shakes his head. "Try and be nice today." He said drinking his coffee. "I'll try." I reply.

"So the movie was good last night. I forgot how good it was." Kieran stated. "Sorry I couldn't finish it with you,  I was to tire-" i stop mid sentence. My memory from last night played back in my head. I remember falling asleep on his shoulder,  then his chest. Then i wrap my arms around him my legs included. Oh. My. Goddess. I look at him while he's smiling. "Stop it." I yelled. "What?" He said chuckling. " I was tired. " i shouted. "I didn't say anything." He reply. My face started heating up. Fast. Causing him to laugh some more.

"Your so annoying." I said washing my bowl. "How? I didn't even say anything." He says standing behind me. "You miss a spot." He said as he came behind me grabbing my hands and washing the bowl. I can feel his breath down my ears. Causing me to shiver. "All done he said putting the bowl in the dry rack with my hands still attach to it. I turned around facing his chest, while he put both his arms on the sink with me in the middle. I look up at him.

Damn is he sexy. I stood on my toes. Pulling him towards my face. Then i whispered "move. your in my way." He rolled his eyes. "And if I don't." He whispered in my ears. Man if he don't stop I'll regret it later. We stared into each other eyes. He inch closer to my face. Our lips brush.. but my stupid phone went off, Causing me to pull away. Kieran back up and walk off. "Hel-hella-hello." I said. "Sky, where are you, sneaky Chrissy is throwing a fit." Rose said. "And? She can wait." I reply. Again Chrissy and her 'I'm not interrupting' moment. Even though Rose called, it still has to do with Chrissy.

I didn't know if I should just leave or wait for Kieran. So I stood there like an idiot. "Hey." He says. "Hey." I reply. "Chrissy throwing a fit according to Rose. I should,  we should. I mean..." Kieran laugh. "Let's go." He said. I followed. It was an awkward silence walking to the packhouse. We both wanted to say something, but we both didn't. I see Rose and Chrissy in front of the packhouse. "It's so nice of you to finally join us." Chrissy said Sarcastically. "Chrissy she was with me." Kieran said sternly.

Chrissy whole facial expression changes. She look so unhappy. "Sorry Kieran."she reply. I smirk at her. "What time will you be back?" He ask. "Either before or after lunch." She reply still looking like she died. "Okay have fun." Kieran said as he kisses my forehead. I look up at him and he as shock as I  was. "Thanks?" I said. This whole mate bond thing is working it's magic.  A month ago I wanted nothing to do with him. Now all I wanted was to be close to him.

"You want me thi wait for you for lunch?" My mate ask me. "No. I don't know how long it'll take. Dinner?" I ask him. "Sure. Come see me when you get back." He said waving goodbye. I yourb to see two opposite faces. Chrissy whos shooting daggers at me. Which I return. Then there's Rose whos grinning. I shook my head. "I thought we were in a hurry." I said looking towards Chrissy. "Yes. If you weren't late then maybe we could've been done sooner." She replied rudely. Ames wanted to RIP her head off.

"Well we're not gonna get shit done standing here! You orchestrated this whole thing so let's get moving." I shot back. Now getting annoyed. She ruled her eyes at me. 'Let me take control Sky. Not only is she disrespecting us. Her wolf is too.' Ames said with a murderous voice.  'Now's not the time.' I replied. Rose grabs my hand "are you gonna be okay? Your eyes keep flickering black." Rose whispered. "yea. Let's hope the moon goddess calms me down." I said walking towards the suv.

I sat down. Man i knew it was gonna be a long day. But my temper is already running real thin.
