Chapter 7: Friends

Angel's POV:

"Okay Angel!!! Whoa.....easy!!!" Kacey cried. I was practicing my powers but it was harder than I thought. I was trying to use more than one power at a time. It was harder than Kacey made it look. I managed to master ally powers. I practiced all night long til Kacey came back from AI. She helped me a bit before falling asleep. "Angel try again." Kacey said. "It's hard." I said. I used my telekinesis to levitate the TV while using my mermaid moon ring to make weeds grow. "Okay. Your doing good....easy...Angel!!!" Kacey yelled. I dropped the TV but Kacey used her powers to catch it. She set it gently back down in the stand. "I'm sorry. It's so hard." I said. "I told you. Let me tell the guys about you and they'll help you." Kacey said. "Kacey we've been over this. I-" she cut me off. "Angel you have powers that I don't understand. Anya is still learning new powers. You need help. Let me help you." She said.

I looked at Anya. She sipped on her apple juice. I sighed. "Fine. Call them over." I said. Kacey went to her phone. "Hey Evie? Yeah listen. I have something to tell you. Get Kyle, Kira, and Blaze over here....Okay. It's better to explain in person. Just get over here fast." She said then hung up. She looked at me. "Angel, the Magic Council can sense when something is amiss in the air. And they're gonna come to you about this soon. And if the see that you haven't learned your powers, it's over for you." She said. "She's right Angel. They did that with me. I was so scared." Anya said. I looked at her. I picked her and kissed her head. "Well your safe now." I said. After ten minutes, there was a knock on the door. Kacey answered it and in walked her friends, Kira, Evelyn, Kyle, and Blaze. Seeing him made my heart race. Then I felt something go over my eyes. It was a golden ring. Mate. Mate. "Kacey what's up?" Kira asked. "Yeah. Evelyn said you had to tell us something." Kyle said.

"Y'all need to sit down for this." Kacey said. We heard a dot open. I turned around to see Keisha walk in. "Bout time." I said. She stuck her middle finger up at me. "Girl shit up." She said. I laughed and sat next to her. Anya went to sit on her lap. Kyle began to stutter. "He-Hey Ke-Keisha." He said. She looked at him. "Uh hey?" She said. She turned her attention back to her phone. "Kacey what's this about?" Kira asked. "Okay I'm not gon sugar coat it. Angel is the chosen one. She's a UniHybrid." Kacey said. They all looked at me. "What? No way." Evelyn said. "Yeah. She is. Angel show em." Kacey said. I began to use my powers to make the TV levitate. I then poured water on myself and my tail appeared. Then I lit myself on fire. "Holy shit!!!" Kyle said. "Wow." Blaze. "Amazing." Kira said. "No way!!!" Evelyn said. I dried myself off and stood up. "Has she gone to the Magic Council?" Kyle asked. "I actually want them to come to me. I don't know what they look like." I said.

"So....how did this happen?" Blaze asked, as he walked up to me. I noticed his scent smelled like cookies. "It just happened. Remember that night when I told you there was a bright light? Well turns out it was the Great Orb or Kailua. It told me it's name was Kailua but everyone calls it the Great Orb. It said I was the chosen one, whatever that means. It gave me it's powers." I said. "Where did you find it?" Evelyn asked. "In a cave." I said. "What cave?" Kyle asked. I shrugged. "I don't know. I just followed a light in a cave." I said. "So you followed a strange light into a cave?" Blaze asked. "Look I heard a voice cry from the cave. I went in to get whoever it was but turns out it was the Great Orb calling out to me." I said. "Wow. So Angel, what else can you do?" Evelyn asked. "Not much." I said. "That's why I called you guys. She needs help learning her new powers and transformations." Kacey said.

"Will you guys please help me?" I asked. They stared at me. "Okay I know we just met five days ago but you guys are really nice. If Kacey considers y'all friends, then your friends of mine." I said. "Angel of course we'll help you. It's just..." Evelyn trailed off. "What?" I asked. "Angel we're not used to being around someone so powerful. Like the energy that's coming off you is ridiculous." Kira said. "Sorry." I said. "No that's good." Blaze said, smiling. I smiled at him. Star he's my mate dude. I know. Shut up before you blow it. "So Angel when you wanna start training?" Evelyn asked, as she put an arm around my waist. "Um now? I really wanna be prepared for the Magic Council, whenever they decide to come see me." I said. "Okay. Let's start." She said. She looked me up and down and smiled. "Sorry Angel. Evelyn here is bi and she's interested in you." Kira said.
