a/n: I'm so sorry if It takes forever for me to upload a whole bunch of chapters. I've been busy so much lately!
"Do you want to match?" Colby asked. I looked at him with hope in my eyes. Of course I missed him.
"Are you sure it's a good idea?" I asked, looking into his emotionless eyes.
He nods. "Yes. I want to. Valarie I know you don't want my explanation right now but I just need to be close to you in one way or another." He said, grabbing my hand.
"Have you been seeing anybody else?" I asked him quietly.
"No," he says honestly. "Have you?"
"No." He smiles but he still looked tired and upset. "Okay. We'll match." I whisper and he nods. I followed him into the my room. He brought his bag in there so we could figure something out.
"I have black overalls." He whispers and laughs.
"Oh! I have black overalls too." I say, looking at him with a stink eye. "How do we both have black overalls?" I ask.
Colby shrugs and puts his hands up in surrender. "I don't know! It wasn't me."
I chuckle. "I don't remember packing these. Dammit Tara."
"You're living with Tara?" He interrupts and asks. I nod. "Are you doing okay there?"
"Yes Colby I'm fine." I say. "Okay, you will wear those overalls—are you wearing anything under it?"
"Naw. I'll just wear my boxers." He says, and I nod. "Here I'll go in the bathroom. You figure something out." He said and left the room.
I sigh and I pick up the black overalls. They weren't those overalls that were long. They were shorts. Colby yelled at me to find chains and attach it to the outfit.
I did, and I looked so emo. Colby is usually the emo one, but I honestly dig this outfit.
Colby walked out. "Wow. You look beautiful." He said, smiling.
"Thanks." I say, walking into the bathroom and applying makeup.
After everyone was done, we all headed to Coachella. Sam and Colby had an interview thing for this company called Heardwell. I hung out with Tara, Kat, Griffin, and Jake.
"He is a mess." Griffin whispered to me. I look up to him and smile slightly. "He regrets hanging out with her. It's not my place to try and explain to you what happened, that's what he should do when you're ready to hear it, but I really think you guys should talk. It's obvious you guys still love each other."
My eyes held back the tears, I didn't let them out. I clear my throat. "Thanks Griffin. I'll do my best. It just sucks." I say and he nods.
"It's Coachella. There's no time for sadness!" He said, wrapping one arm around me giving me a side hug.
I watch Sam and Colby. It hurt me to see him, but I know I had too. He was smiling, which was good.
I watched him as his eyes met mine. I didn't show emotion, but he smiled softly at me, before turning back to the interview.
Damn I still love him.
