CHAPTER38; Birthday.

sorry it took so long to update!

The next two days were normal. Colby went back to sleeping on the couch, and me alone in the room. Even though I had nightmares every night.

It was finally a Saturday morning. It was a special day though, but I just hoped everyone forgot about it. I just wish everyone would forget about me. I'm not special.

I go out into the kitchen, to see Colby. He had his camera on and it was faced towards me once I walked out. "Happy birthday!" He yells.

I look at him and smile. "Colby! I look terrible!" I comment, covering my face.

He laughs, "You look perfect." I look at him and roll my eyes. "I was just telling them what the plans was for today." He informs me.

"You made plans?" I asked, sighing.

"You'll have fun, trust me." He tells me, and puts down the camera. "I made you chocolate chip pancakes!" He says, and I laugh.

After I ate them, I was told to go get ready, so I did. I put on black ripped jeans and a light blue cropped shirt. I wore light blue vans to match the color, and I did my makeup.

Once I walked out, Colby turned his camera on. "Ready?" He asks excitedly. I just nod and follow him to his car.

We drove to the mall, which got me confused. "Why are we here?" I ask Colby. He just looks at me and shrugs.

"We are meeting someone." He tells me, and I look at him with a confused expression. He finds a parking spot and we get out of the car. We walked into the mall and Colby led me to the food court. "Okay Val, lets go sit there with your brother." He tells me, holding his camera to face us both.

I give him the most confused look ever then I look at the familiar figure ahead of us. My jaw drops. "Oh my god! Lance!" I yell running up to my brother. I hug him and i could see Colby recording us from the corner of my eye. "What are you doing here?" I question.

"Well Colby and I have been talking and we decided that I should fly down to surprise you for your birthday!" He says, smiling at Colby.

"Thank you so much!" I say giving Colby a quick, but friendly hug. Colby dismisses my thankfulness and we continue to shop for the day.

"We should go out to eat!" I say excitedly.

"How about you two go, I actually have to head back. Sam wanted to have a meeting with me and our managers about another video." He says, smiling kindly.

"Oh, okay." I say and I wave him off. It did make me kind of sad but I'm sure I'd see him later.

An hour past and Lance and I were at Olive Garden eating a lunch/dinner meal. It was around four so it can count as both.

Once we were done we went to a yogurt shop. It was fun hanging out with my brother, I missed him.
