CHAPTER17; I Love You.

a/n: I say the words "I love you" too many times in this chapter but hey it's okay.

Colby and I decided we wanted to go to Danny's Diner, so we did. At three in the morning. It was open twenty-four hours which was always enjoyable.

"Nice seeing you kids!" Wendy, the waitress said. Danny wasn't working now, because he had to sleep obviously.

We smile and greet her and sit at our usual spot. She came to take our order and then she left "You're so beautiful." Colby said, causing me to smile and cover my face.

"Stop that Brock." I say between giggles.

"No," He said, grabbing my hands. "You're perfect."

I look at him and shake my head. "Thank you." I whisper.

About ten minutes later, our food came and we ate in mostly silence. Colby kept looking at me, which I hated because he was watching me eat, but I guess I shouldn't be so insecure about it.

After we were done, we got back into the car. We were just sitting in the parking lot. "Valarie," Colby says. "I need to tell you something."

"What? Are you okay?" I ask, and Colby nods.

"We've been together for what, a month, two months? But I've known you for about five." He says, and I nod. "Well I don't know, I just have strong feelings for you."

"Are you okay?" I ask again.

"Yes," he breathes out. He grabbed my hand. "I guess I'm trying to say that I- I love you."

My heart probably skipped ten beats. Colby loves me. Colby Brock loves me. "Colby," I whisper. "I love you too."

He smiled and then leans in. We share a long passionate kiss. Colby Brock loves me! We headed back to the house.

We got into Colby's room. "When did you know?" I asked Colby. He looked at me with a confused expression. "When did you know you loved me?"

"Oh," he says chuckling. "I always have. From the second I laid eyes on you at Brennen's party. That entire night I knew I was going to fall in love with you." He told me. He walked up to me and hugged me.

"I love you." I say to him.

"Man. That's never going to get old." Colby said, kissing my forehead. "I love you."

I giggle and smile widely. "I love you!" I say a little louder. I cover my mouth to shut myself up.

Colby laughs and jumps into bed. "It's legit four in the morning. Let's go to bed." He said and I lay down next to him on the bed. "I love you, Valarie."

Chills run down my back. "Colby, I love you more." I say and I give him a quick peck. "Wait! Retainers!" I say and he laughs.

Colby and I both had braces when we were teenagers so we both have to wear retainers. Colby handed my my retainer case and I put them in and then I hand the case back to them. He puts in his and then wraps his arms around me.

I never wanted him to let go.
