She Wants What She Hates ~ Ally/You (G!P)

Ain't gonna lie, I'm basically shitting myself. I could tell by the sound of her voice that this conversation is gonna end sourly. I reluctantly follow, reflecting on the last couple of weeks.

I did this to myself.

When I get inside, I'm met with a slightly annoyed Normani. I raise an eyebrow at her, "What's up with you?" She hands me a key card and I study it briefly before realization hits me.

"So, you're my roommate, eh?" I say rhetorically. She nods, "Yeah, our manager feels like you need to interact with the rest of us." I nod in understanding, "Oh, a'ight. Cool with me. Is it cool with you?"

"Yeah, hopefully you don't snore," she jokes and I chuckle. "Nah, I don't," I say.

We both head to our room and thank god it had two beds. As we get settled, my phone dings and I pull it from my jeans to check it.

      -You could just come to my place at around 3 and we could go to Jesy's together. Sounds good?

I send a message of affirmation before finishing up. "You're staying in or going out with the children?" I ask, looking over to see Normani on her phone, sitting on her bed.

"I'm staying in. A bitch is tired," I nod. "Facts, I need a shower and some food." She makes a noise of agreement and I chuckle. My phone rings, indicating that I'm getting a FaceTime call.

My heart races, but I soon calm down when I see who it is. I answer while flopping onto my bed. "'Sup, bitch!" I say to the boy.

"Sup, asshole! I see you've landed. How was the flight?" I shrug, "It was a'ight, I guess. A nigga jetlagged as fuck, though." Nick nods, "Yeah, it be like that. Aren't you used to it though since you did travel 24/7?"

I chuckle, "Man, that was two years ago, but it does feel good to be out again. Not gonna lie." He shifts on the couch, turning his baseball cap to the front, "How are things with you and Ally?" I freeze for a second before shrugging nonchalantly.

"We good," I say simply. He furrows his eyebrows, "No, you're not. Something's up." Fuck. I glance over to Normani, who was looking at me curiously. I look back at Nick, silently cursing him. "Look, man, I'm gonna shower, eat, then go to bed. I'll call you later."

He gives me a disapproving look before nodding, "Alright, love you."

"Love you, too," I say then I hung up.

"What's going on with you and Ally?" Normani's voice sounds beside me. I chew on my bottom lip, but I didn't say anything. "Y/N, I promise I won't go all Lauren on you. Tell me what's going on," she says gently.

I sigh, feeling my chest tighten a bit. "A'ight," I say, then I gave her a run down of everything that has happened. I left nothing out, even including that Ally was seemingly okay with me going with Leigh to Jesy's tomorrow.

"... she wants me to be sure and I know I'm hurting her. I love her, Mani, I do. But I love Leigh, too. This meeting is just to see what's really going on with me." Normani sits there, listening attentively with a neutral expression.

"She's so thoughtful, meanwhile I'm a selfish little fuck that can't seem to make up my mind," I hang my head, letting my hair curtain my vision. "Wanna know what I think?" She asks after a moment of silence.

I lift my head, pushing my hair back, and nod.

"You do need to sort yourself out. Because if it comes down to you actually loving Leigh more than Ally, but stayed with Ally, it would hurt her more than if you leave her for Leigh. Because she has this thought that you love her and only her, when you actually love someone else. You did the right thing telling her. You didn't want her to experience what she did with Will with you and that's actually very thoughtful of you. But the fact that you're planning on letting Leigh know how you feel when she's in a happy relationship with Andre."
