~2 weeks later~

"Yaz, please, come home." Not being bothered to argue anymore, I slam the phone down in anger and it makes a cracked clanging sound.

The sound seems to resonate throughout my room, getting louder and louder until I have to cover my ears to block it out.

My mum's been trying relentlessly over the course of the two weeks to try and get me to come home. At first it was threats, then the bribes. The offer of privileges and even money.

I wasn't convinced that she would have me back without the consequences being somewhat fatal.

"Yaz, could you come here please?" I hear The Doctor outside my room and the the dull sound of footsteps walking away.

My heart beats rapidly in my chest.

I still haven't apologised for shouting at her.

What does she want to talk about?

Instantly, my mind races.

Maybe she's going to kick me out because I shouted at her and she wants nothing more to do with me...

Suddenly, I hear noises in the hall and the dull sound of the Tardis door closing.

"Thank you for coming, she's just through there."

Is that my...

Frantically, I begin to look around the room for a way out.

"Tardis! Any help?"

My ears pick up the sound of running feet from outside.

"Tardis?" I look around the room even more, anything to escape.

Just when I'm about to give up, a glowing light is seen from my peripheral vision.

"Thank you Tardis!"

Now that my mum has gone, I'm safe to come out from my hiding spot.

Just when I'm about to do so, the door to my room is going open.

"Yaz, come out of your hiding spot please."

Normally I would be ecstatic to have The Doctor in my room. However, judging from her tone, it sounds like she is less than pleased with me.

She sounds really angry.

Damn it.

"If you don't come out, I'm going to have to find you."

Holy sh-

Any minute now, The Doctor is going to get the idea to look under the bed and then, I'm dead meat.

In panic, I look for a way out, opting for the other side of the bed.

Then what?

"FOUND YOU!"

Catching me by surprise, The Doctor sees me under the bed but not for long as I then begin to scramble from underneath it, hop onto the bed, bolt out the door and down the hall.

"Yaz, come back!"

"No!"

I run until I come to a door and barely have enough time before I'm closing it on The Doctor's face and locking it.

"Yaz, open the door."

"No, I'm not going to open the door."

Now that I'm in here, I decide to look around a bit. Instantly, I notice two things.
