"Hey Yaz." Ryan greets me brightly as The Doctor and I step into the Tardis, smiling widely at me.

I wonder if he can feel the hatred that I have for him right now...

No. Not again. Shut up Yaz.

I decide to try to be civil and give Ryan the biggest hug and smile that I can muster.

Oddly enough, out of the corner of my eye, I see The Doctor looking at me just as I pull away from him.

Her gaze stony and cold.

Weird. What did I do?

I turn to The Doctor after taking a step back from Ryan, frowning hard at her while tilting my head.

She doesn't react to my look, only goes over to the console and pushes a couple of buttons.

In response to this, the Tardis whines and groans, making The Doctor frown.

"Can you be quiet please, you're making a huge fuss out of absolutely nothing." She then sighs loudly and, pulling more levers and flicking more switches.

Ryan turns from me to The Doctor and looks at her in confusion, then turns to me with his eye brows raised.

I shrug my shoulder, not knowing what's happening either.

"Um... Who are you talking to Doc?" Graham asks somewhere from in the Tardis.

Turning around, I'm greeted by Graham in the corner of the console room, looking at The Doctor with equal confusion.

"My Tardis, she speaks to me." The Doctor says in a matter of a fact voice, pushing more buttons.

The Tardis then hums and whines, making louder voices than before.

"Well, they don't know that, do they, so shush."

The Doctor starts huffing and sighing at whatever the Tardis has just... Said.

What on earth is this lady talking about with the Tardis?

Suddenly, I remember just what I came to do.

It's now or never Yaz.

"Graham and Ryan, I'm going to need you to leave." I startle myself with my own harsh tone but stand firm, crossing my arms.

Ryan and Graham look at me with confusion written across their faces but I only glare at them.

This is not a good plan.

Shut up brain.

"Why do they have to leave?" The Doctor turns to me with a melancholy look on her face, her eyes cast down to the floor, her voice barely a whisper.

Gosh, I feel bad.

"Doctor, they're not leaving forever, I'm just sending them away so that I can talk to you in private."

Hearing this, The Doctor calms down a lot more and gives Ryan and Graham a sad smile before they leave.

I look at The Doctor as the door to the Tardis opens and closes with two faint thuds.

"What is it that you wanted to tell me?" The Doctor asks me, flicking some more switches on the console and smiling at me.

Gosh, I really want to tell her.

"I-."

The Doctor jumps down from her console platform, the image instantly reminding me of a puppy.

"I-."

"Yes." I suddenly find The Doctor increasingly in front of me, causing my eyes to widen and my face to rise in heat.

Picking up on this, The Doctor tilts her head.

"Are you okay Yaz?"

Now that I think about it, I don't feel so good. It's not only my face that feels hot, it's also my whole body.

"Doctor."

The last image that I remember is The Doctor reaching towards me with fright etched across her face.

"Yaz."

"Yaz."

"YAZ."

I bolt awake, my forehead connecting with the Doctor's.

I then realise that I'm in my Tardis room.

With The Doctor.

"Ow, ow, ow." The Doctor moans in pain as she rubs her head, causing the area to become red.

"Doctor." She abruptly turns to my voice, smiling.

Looking at her forehead, I caress it with my thumb, stopping when the Doctor flinches.

"Sorry." I saw, pulling away slowly.

The Doctor quickly grabs my hand, raises it towards her mouth and, to my utter shock, lightly kisses it.

My stomach does cartwheels, flips and turns, putting international gymnasts to shame.

"It's fine Yaz, can you do it again?" The Doctor climbs onto my bed and puts her head in my lap, snuggling deep into the material of the bed.

"Sure." I whisper to The Doctor.

When I met The Doctor, my first impression of her was somewhat... Messy. Considering she fell through a train and all and was completely unaware to the fact that she was a woman.

Absolutely adorable.

However, that Doctor is gone and I'm starting to fall more and more in love with this one.

With a smile on my lips, I look down at the little puppy I have on my lap and begin to slip my fingers through her short blonde hair.

Her hair is really soft.

Goodness, I think I'm gonna die from this.

This is the closest I've ever been to The Doctor, not including the one time when she fell asleep and I had to help her keep warm and all.

I look down at The Doctor with a loving smile on my face. Not only am I in love with her, I also love her as a friend.

Something that is much safer than what I seem to be getting myself into.

The Doctor feels her gaze on me at this point, her eyes fluttering open to look at me.

She doesn't say anything to me as we look at each other, she only stares at me with big wide eyes, unblinking.

"You okay?" I whisper, still stroking her hair and still looking deep into her eyes.

She doesn't answer my question immediately, only stares at me for a second more.

Her eyes seem so big and overpowered with love.

Then, she reaches up to cup my cheek with her hand.

"Doctor." I whisper in fright, biting my lip.

Suddenly, from the silence of the room, I hear a faint whimper escape from The Doctor's mouth.

Alarmed, I ask her what's wrong.

"My stomach hurts." She says.

And, in that instant, I realise something.

There might be a slight chance that The Doctor is in love with me too.
