*few days later*

i wiped my tears as i was in the bathroom. my make up kind of looked ruined all because of what people screamed at me as i was on the carpet.

i heard a knock on the door. i quickly tried to fix my make up and tried to calm down.

i opened the door and saw Carlos standing in front of me.

Emily: carlos where's Amaya?!
Carlos: relax, she's with mom
Emily: you scared me

he looked at me and i knew he knew what happened.

Carlos: don't listen to them

i let my arms wrap around him. he wrapped his arms around me.

Carlos: come on...they're about to say who wins..

i saw my manager with a few people. carrying what i guess was a make up bag. someone was carrying a curler.

Manager: hell nah, you are not going out like that
Emily: like what?
Manager: no time for talking, come on hurry

she grabbed my hand and dragged me into the bathroom with the other people.

some were fixing my make up and some where fixing my hair.

Manager: good luck, if you don't win, you should at lest be even honored to even be nominated..remember this isn't a easy life

i nodded my head slowly and she gave me a quick hug.

I grabbed Carlos hand and we quickly went back to our seats. Tyler, the creator was announcing the nominees. My name came up and as the other names were also called everyone cheered and clapped.

Tyler: and the winner for the best Actress of the year goes to...Emily Martinez!

i closed my eyes and i couldn't believe it.

i quickly turned to Carlos and hugged him giving him a kiss.

i quickly hugged some of my family members and carried amaya giving her a quick kiss before going to the stage.

i walked to the stage where Tyler waited with an award.

i grabbed the award, giving tyler a hug after.

i turned around and smiled as i was in front of everyone.

Emily: wow, i really can't believe this *nervous chuckle* a lot has happened the last few months and it all seems like a dream come true, i want to thank my family that always supports me, my team that helps me out every time, carlos that never gave up on me..and all of the people that support me, a huge thanks to my dedicated fans, i really wouldn't be here if it weren't for you guys, i love you each and every single one of you. and i also want to say something else to all the kids watching this right now...you can do it.

suddenly a large wave of claps interrupted my speech. i smiled.

Emily: you can do anything you want, and you shouldn't let any one tell you so. i have been dreaming of this moment since i was 4. and as i grew i worked and worked hard on making that possible. there was a point in my life where i gave up...and i stop having hope that one day i would be here...and now look at me

again everyone started clapping loudly and cheering.

Emily: just don't forget..that the world can be a cruel world...but you have to be strong and stay working to reach your goal...please don't ever stop hoping or dreaming about it, ever. thank you so much everyone! i love you all!

the crowd suddenly began to clap again. and i think i might have even seen some people cry.

i turned around to tyler. he smiled as i quickly but carefully ran to him. giving him a big hug.

Tyler: you made it bitch

i laughed at him and kept on hugging him. we walked off stage after.
