Queen Victoria

September 10th, 1518

I smiled at Morgana as she placed my crown on my head before she fixed my bun.

"You are already, Your Majesty." She said and I nodded as I stood up and placed my head on my stomach.

"Thank you, Morgana. You work wonders with hair." I complimented and Morgana blushed before bowing to me.

"Thank you, Your Majesty. In Scotland, I was Her Majesties dresser as well." She explained and I nodded.

"Do you miss Scotland?" I asked and I watched as fear came into her eyes.

"No, you have saved me. I do not wish to return." She said and I nodded as I patted her cheeks.

"Good, I would hate to lose a wonderful lady like you."

"Lady Megan, do I have anything planned for today?" I called out as I walked into my sitting room. Lady Megan was in charge of my day to day while Morgana was now in charge of my outfits and dressing me.

"Nothing at the moment, Your Grace. Your mother and brother Jonathan are waiting for you in the courtyard." She stated and I nodded.

"Morgana you will come with me today. Emilia is taking care of everything for when the Scottish Royals come." I explained and Morgana nodded before following me out of my rooms and outside.

I spotted my mother and Jonathan near a fountain and I grinned as I rushed towards them.

"Mère, ça fait si longtemps!" (Mother, it's been so long!) I cried out and my mother turned around and smiled at me.

"Victoria, ma fille chérie. Viens, laisse-moi te regarder." (Victoria, my darling girl! Come, let me look at you) She said as she held out her hand. I instantly grabbed it and let her pull me into a hug.

"Tu m'as manqué ma mère. Toi Aussi Jonathan." (I have missed you mother. You as well Jonathan.) I said and my brother grinned at me as he kissed my forehead.

"I feel loved little sister. Look at you, you look like you are ready to pop." He said and I laughed softly.

"We are nearly there. This may be a christmas baby as the physician stated." I explained as I sat down with my mother and Morgana stepped back with Lord Julien.

"Comment vas-tu Victoria? Est-ce que Henry te traite bien?" (How are you Victoria? Is Henry treating you well?) Mother asked and I smiled as I held her hand.

"Mère nous sommes en Angleterre maintenant." (Mother we are in England now) Jonathan hissed and I glared at him.

"Mother may speak French if she pleases. Henry me traite bien. Je crains qu'il puisse en prendre un Autre bientôt." (Henry treats me well. I fear he may take another soon.) I whispered and mother smiled.

"Nonsense my love. He loves you. He moved heaven and earth to be with you." She said before I looked at Jonathan and saw him staring at Morgana.

"She is my lady. A gift from the Queen of Scots." I said and Jonathan smiled.

"She seems more of Liam's type. He shall be home soon." Jonathan said and I smiled.

"Good, I have missed my brother. Dealing with you alone gets tiring." I said and Jonathan flicked me earning me to laugh.

"Enough you two. How is Mary doing?"

"Mary is well. She is at her mathematics lesson now. I never knew how much a day to day schedule for a child was so hard." I said and Mother smiled.

"I planned months in advance for each of you. You are doing well with Princess Mary. Her Latin is years above her experience." Mother said and I smiled.

"I have missed this. The sense of calm and not constantly having to look over my shoulder." I confessed and Jonathan sat beside me.

"Do not fret little sister. Would it please you if I came to court or if Liam came to court?" He asked and I stared at him.

"Jonathan I cannot ask you to leave mother home alone."

"Dear I will not be alone. And I would sleep easier at night knowing one of your brothers is with you." Mother said and I smiled as I leaned into Jonathan.

"I can set up your chambers near Lord Juliens. He is one of my guards." I stated and Jonathan smirked.

"Do you ever think Emilia would fall for a man like me?"

"Do not make me regret this decision for you coming to court," I said before I heard footsteps and I looked to see Emilia walking towards me.

"Emilia, is something wrong?" I asked as Jonathan helped me stand up.

"I have news, Vicky."

"Of?" I whispered as I felt my stomach tightened.

"I have spies all throughout the court and some work for Henry but are fiercely loyal to you."

"Get on with it. My patience is running thin." I spat and my mother grabbed my arm.

"Last night Henry took another. A woman by the name Mary Boylen." Emilia said and I froze.

"Another Boylen? First Anne and now her?" I snapped and everyone jumped.

I took a deep breath before nodding.

"I have a job for your spies Emilia. Have them get a way to let Henry know that I know of his newly whore. And that soon his sisters shall know." I instructed and Emilia nodded as she bowed her head before turning and walking away.

I watched her walk for a moment before I felt my eyes well up.

"Je t'ai dit. Je t'ai dit qu'il en prendrait un autre." (I told you. I told you he would take another.) I whispered as the tears fell and my mother brought me into her arms.

"Oh, my sweet girl."
