"Oppa can I come by your place?" The text reads.

"Sure. Want me to pick you up?"

"I'm just coming back from my lessons. I'll just tell the driver to drop me off at the convenience store near your place."

"Arasseo, I'll wait for you then."

Being a bit of a worrywart, I decided to meet Jihyo halfway. She was pleasantly surprised as she saw me waiting for her by the sidewalk. She was carrying a bag of snacks and drinks. Of course, I took them off her being the gentleman that I am.

"Is something wrong?" I asked. It isn't uncommon for them to ask to come to my place but just wanted to make sure everything is okay.

"Nothing Oppa. I just wanted to relax and you know that my roommates tend to be over-energetic except for one."

"Makes sense..." I replied as I opened the door to my place.

"So, what do you wanna do?"

"Hmm... I think I'll just read some webtoons on my phone."

"Okay, I'll just get back to watching Pinocchio then."

I don't have work today as it's just the start of the new year. The girls didn't have anything scheduled until Thursday which is three days from now. JYP kindly let the managers have a day off until the girls' first schedule of the year.

I got a bowl from the kitchen for the snacks and went to sit on the couch with Jihyo. She was already into what she was reading so I just silently poured her a glass of soju. I put the bowl in between us for easier access and unpaused my drama.

We were both silent for a good amount of time. Though we poured shots for each other once in a while. Grabbing a handful of the snacks beside us and concentrating on what we were doing. I looked at Jihyo and she was glued to her phone she looked a bit anxious. I wonder what she's reading.

I was pouring another shot and came short on the second glass. I reached out for another bottle and noticed that we're already on our 5th bottle. I looked back at Jihyo and see that she isn't showing the signs of being drunk like she was back then during the Christmas party.

Granted that the soju we're drinking is weaker than the one I accidentally bought, still she should at least be tipsy by now. I kept staring at her trying to figure out what's going on and she noticed me and turned.

"What? Is something on my face?"

"No... It's just that we're on our 5th bottle of soju now..."

"Yeah? What of it?" She nonchalantly replies.

"5th bottle... Christmas... You weren't drunk."

She put two and two together and realized what I was on about.

"Opss. Hehe, you got me." She flashed me her goddess smile.

"You should've seen your face Oppa."

"Aish jinjja. Why do you girls keep messing with me?"

"Haha, just think of it as our way of showing affection."

"Yeah, right." I feigned anger.

She put the bowl of snacks on the table so she could sit closer to me. Acting cute so I won't be mad at her anymore. I really wasn't. I just wanted to tease her back. I didn't let up and she got tired eventually. She knows I'm not really mad.
