Nathaniel was by now back to his usual self, the self he was before Landon and Raf had shown up. Therefore he was up early and updated on the news and everything that's going on at school.

This moring after breakfast, one of the wolves told him about the council and to be honest? He wasn't even sure if it was him or Jed that were going to be elected. Jed may be an asshole, but he's been nothing but loyal to Nate since they met.

It's no wonder that he's-basically-deputy Alpha and even gets to make some of the decisions with Nate. They may not always be together, but the boys were like best friends. That's why when they're training he lets Jed take the lead.

What's unexpected is the fact that Jed asks people to do his homework for him and what's even more surprising is that Raphael says he'll do it.

Already sensing that this was going to go south, Nate sat back and watched how Jed and Raphael were going to handle it. "I'll do it. But I need a favour from either you or Nathaniel." Nate's face is a little amused as he waits to hear it.

"You've been in the pack for five minutes and you need a favour from your Alpha?"

Raphael once again just seems bothered by this and Nate knows it's about Landon, the student council's first choice would be about whether or not the boy should stay-that is if Hope's tests show negative results.

"One of you is obviously going to be elected for honour council." Raf states which confirms what Nathaniel was already thinking. "If it comes down to it, would you do everything you can to keep Landon in."

And that's when Nate chuckles.Wanting to laugh at the request because he for sure made his dislike for Landon rather clear-many times. Seems as if Jed also had the same thought "that's a great idea foster kid. I'll bring it up at the first meeting."

Nate now stands up, not wanting to be here any longer. "Of course, it's to make sure your boy gets the boot." Which just brings in a whole new lot of annoyance to Raphael. "Why? I joined the pack, followed all the stupid rules that you made m-" and before he can go any further, Nate steps next to Jed, already hating how this was going to end up.

"Right yeah, but Landon's of no use here. He's human, a burden. I don't see how him being here makes things betters." And it seems that wasn't just that since Jed goes on to say how it's 'punishment' for the trouble that Raf caused while Nate was away.

"The rule is this; what the Alpha says goes. And Nate and I say Landon goes." And as rude or mean as it might of been, Nathaniel smiles shrugging this all off and speaking as he walks out.
