The next time Nate's awake it's because Hope and Alaric are screaming at each other. At first he's confused, then everything's he's seen comes back to his mind faster than the last time.
Hope and Alaric notice he's awake faster than he had expected. "What day is it?" Because last thing he remembered was that it was Remembrance Day. "You've been out of it for less than 24 hours." his headmaster answers and Nate notes the yelling has stopped.
"What did he say to you?"
And because it's Hope who asked the question, Nate glares at her so hard she feels even worse. "You tricked him, he knew you were lying and punished me for it." The venom in his voice is one neither Alaric nor Hope have heard before.
"He made me see things. He showed me when your father cursed the whole Pack, when the curse was lifted and the fight after it. And.." telling her the first two things didn't seem to effect him as much as he thought they would.
But getting to the last part was hard enough without two people in the room. "Nate?" He's gonna have to calm down before he speaks, but if he's pushed into telling them then he'll blame Hope and make things worse. "Was it about my mom?"
He shakes his head "No. he made me watch m-" and feeling his voice begun to break and refusing to allow himself to look weak again Nate shuts up. Although he's pretty sure they know what he's on about now, because the looks on their faces say it all.
"What did I tell you?" Alaric's the first to break the silence. "To stay away from him. I wanted to, but you also said stick with MG. It's not my fault Hope dragged us into it. Blame her." And maybe it wasn't the right thing to say since she looks guilty enough. But no way in hell is he getting that look again.
"I wanted nothing to do with it. She wanted to know about her dad. I didn't, I don't wanna know about it." And it's clear that Hope's already blaming herself enough as it, but she also seems to be in better mental state than Nate is.
His cousin looks at him "Im sorry. I didn't want you to get dragged into this." And then it's the pity look all over again. If it carries on who knows what he'll say. "I don't care." And he's not going to say she has it easy, but the deaths in her life outnumber the ones in his.
But it doesn't make what she did alright.
Alaric stops them before the continued. "I've called your mother, she's on her way over here now." Thank god, his mind screams. Going to home can help take his mind off of things. He'll feel like his old self for a while anyways.
He won't, but he'll bullshit it at least
When going up to leave the room, Nate glares at home and wishes he didn't have to see her right now. Just as he's going towards the door, Nate asks "Is Hope going back too?" And he hopes for his sake she isn't.
There's no way he's gonna keep himself from lashing out if they're in New Orleans together. "No." Comes in the answer and he doesn't even bother to hide his relief as he walks out of the door.
Now the hard part, if you ask Nate, is having to deal with people's questions. Plus telling the pack he's leaving for a week or two. Thankfully for him, it's MG who finds him before everyone else.
"Oh Nathaniel. You're alive. Are you okay?" And yeah he's okay, he just wants to go home so badly and so-nicely-he answers and dismisses MG. It's all fine as long as he gets to New Orleans without having another freak out session.
He swear so anyways.

Ok so shirt chapter, I know but I have no school-half term- for another two days and I plan on finishing up Season one and starting with Season two
I also hate how Josie is acting in the new season but I've got a few good idea on where I'm going with this story
