"Shh, it's okay Kitoru, please don't cry."

"Let me see him," I tell him.

"I've got him. There we go- wait, I messed up. Shit, stop!"

I move over to where he sits as I take our son from him.

"He's crying because he doesn't want you to hold him," I explain.

According to Yato I've gotten sassier and I get pissed off easier. I don't see it. Today is my first day as a mother and I need him to understand our children aren't going to reply to him when he speaks to either of them.

I look over to where Yato was sitting as he tries to talk to Ajisai.

"Yato," I warn. "You know she's going to start crying too."

"I just don't get it! Ajisai wants to be held by me, but she doesn't like when I sing or talk to her. I already know Kitoru doesn't like me, so why's our daughter gotta make me feel bad too?"

"You're singing too loudly, and maybe they don't find that relieving or soothing at all. Also, your face probably shouldn't be directly next to them. They're sensitive."

He scowls and groans. His expression is twisted as once again, a baby cries.

"Yori make it stop!"

I grit my teeth as I pull over to grab Ajisai too. At this point I'm holding both babies near my chest as I glare at my insensitive husband.

Kitoru's little hand gets caught on my gown and I sigh.

"Pumpkin, you just ate," I whisper to him.

"How come I can't say anything but you can?" Yato groans.

I shoot a glare at him as he cautiously backs up.

"I'm their mother, and their food source. You want to try nursing two newborn twins?"

He steps back again, even further, before he hits the door. His back is pressed against the cool metal until the door to the room flies open and my husband goes with it.

"What the hell!?" he yells as he falls.

He sits up and rubs his head as he growls at the people who entered the room.

"Shut it Yato God," Bishamon reprimands.

He yelps and crawls back over to the side of my bed. I sigh as he hoists himself up to my side.

"Hi Yori!" Kofuku squeals.

"Shh!"

It's too late. Once she started getting hyper and started bouncing all over the walls, Kitoru and Ajisai began wailing.

"Ah they're so loud! Yori make them stop!" she exclaimed.

"I told you to be specifically quiet!" I whisper yelled.

She took a step back and hid behind a very distraught and tired Daikoku. He sighed as she glanced over his shoulder.

"I told her to be quiet numerous times before entering. Sorry Hiyori," he apologized.

"It's fine. I'm just overwhelmed right now." I replied waving my hand.

"I bet. By the looks of it, you'll become exhausted multiple times per day," Bishamon spoke up.

"Yeah,"

I looked to the side to where Yato was crouched on the floor. I rolled my eyes and got his attention.

"So, are we going to introduce our friends to our children?"

His icy azure eyes peered up to me before he sparkled with delight.

"Yes," he nodded.

"Alright, so we have a something to address first. Gather 'round." I called.

The gods and their entourages followed each other up to my bedside.

"This," I began as I pulled the corner of the violet blanket, "This is Kitoru Mizu Iki."

Kofuku automatically gushed over my son as she squealed every time he moved or whimpered.

Bishamon on the other hand was more interested in Ajisai.

I looked at Yato who took the lead on introducing our daughter to them.

"This here is Kitoru's little sister Ajisai Harunei."

I don't trust Kofuku yet to hold either of my children, but Bishamon on the other hand, I've never seen her act like this. Yato looks to me for a split second before addressing her.

"Do you wanna hold her?" he asks.

Her violet eyes look to us. Somewhere in there I can see worry and fear. Another part sees hope.

"Yato swap me real quick."

My husband looks down before reluctantly taking Kitoru and placing Ajisai in my arms.

"Bishamon, can you come here real quick?" I ask. Even though we've known her forever, I still like being polite and formal with her. She's a god(dess) after all.

She calmly approaches me, and Kazuma drags a chair out for her to sit on. She inches closer to the bed and I slowly set Ajisai into her arms.

Her eyes widen as Ajisai clings to her.

"Wow."

"Aren't you the favorite aunt?" I giggle.

Bishamon nervously chuckles and proceeds to gently rock Ajisai. Her little fingers find their way into Bishamon's long blonde hair and she lightly pulls on it.

Bishamon doesn't mind the attention she's receiving from my daughter. In fact, she looks like she's calmed down by it. All the fear she's felt is melting away from a few moments with Ajisai.

Yato is completely blown away by how our daughter has taken a liking to his enemy. He stands blank and surprised as Ajisai clings to Bishamon.

Kazuma smiles as Bishamon turns to him. I can tell he's happy for her.

A few moments pass of Bishamon and I talking about Ajisai while Yato allows Daikoku to hold Kitoru since neither of us trust Kofuku yet.

As I see my closest friends, people that became family to me, interact with these lives we've worked hard to protect, I can't help but smile. We've all come together for Kitoru and Ajisai.

Then as the gods proceed to head out after a few hours of catching up, somebody who has been dying to meet the twins, (not really) enters the room.

Now it's a private moment.

The five us all in one room. Our family.

"Hey," I smile.

He approaches with wide eyes and forms a shaky smile.

"Are these-"

I nod as he walks closer.

His golden eyes are wide and surprised as he calmly sits at the side of my bed.

"Meet your brother and sister, Yukine."

-Hey I know I haven't updated in a long time, but I had problems with my laptop, and I work on drawing comics as well, so there's my schedule. I'm making another fanfic based on a popular ship that I completely endorse and would like to advocate for so I'm going to be working on that as well. Enjoy the sweet fluffy chapter and art!-
