Annie's POV
I've been in the Jury House since the first week of this competition and honestly, it's depressing. I thought I would make it farther and I'm pissed that some of these idiots made it farther than I did. Just because I got to MTSU for law school doesn't mean I'm any less qualified than the people here from Harvard or Stanford. I deserved the chance to showcase my talent but instead, I got snubbed in the first competition. So unfair. On the bright side, I've made some friends in the Jury House. We all bond about how unfair this competition is and how it's rigged. Well except for Tamir, it doesn't really seem like he cares that much about being eliminated. The rest of us just hang out and play card games and watch tv while we wait for the competition to be over. Everyone keeps asking me who I think will win and honestly, I think it's anybody's game at this point, but if I had to root for someone it would be Drew. He seems like the only decent person left in the competition. It's currently week 6 and Alex just arrived at the jury house. He's obviously pissed and doesn't think that he should have been eliminated. He thinks he's better than us but sucks it up bitch you got eliminated like the rest of us. Cassadi keeps fawning over him and honestly, it's pathetic how desperate she is for his attention when he obviously has feelings for somebody else. Every once and awhile we play a game of truth or truth in the jury house and we decided to tonight to help ease Alex into the harsh reality of failure. Tamir doesn't play until he has a few beers but we finally got him to participate. I asked the first question to Alex and said "who do you think will win this competition?" and he replies "Jillian because she's shown that she has what it takes to be cutthroat and she has the potential to take it all, people underestimate her". Alex asks the next question to Annaleigh and says "Who do you think will be in the final four" she pauses and answers "Trey, Emily, Drew, and Sean" without giving any explanation. Annaleigh asks the next question to Tamir and asks "Who do you think is the hottest competitor" I see him pause and I have hope that maybe he'll actually open up and answer a question but then he reverts back to his old ways and says "I feel uncomfortable right now". Typical Tamir. He then turns to Anna and asks "If you could hook up with any member of the crew who would it be" without hesitation she yells "Shamir", maybe a little too enthusiastically. The poor girl has fallen hard. Finally, she turns to Cassadi and asks "who do you think is currently the worst competitor?" she says "Sean because he relies on exposing others rather than focusing on improving himself in the competition, he ruined my chances at winning". She then turns to me and asks "who is your least favorite person in this room". I decide to say Alex because he's a man who just played two contestants and men are trash. We finish the game and then all go to bed to get some rest. The next morning we are all awoken by the sound of a loud air horn. We all rush downstairs and we see Shamir and the rest of the crew standing in our living room. I even saw Anna blush a little bit when she saw him. We were all surprised and confused, I mean we thought he had forgotten about the rest of us lowlifes. He then announced something that shook me to my core...One contestant from the Jury House would be coming back into the competition to compete against the remaining five contestants. Everyone got excited and rushed off to their rooms to get ready for the day but there was no point. I was going to win and nobody was going to stop me this time.
