Chapter Twelve
Monday 7th of July – Maine USA– 1 week later
It's been a week and I can finally go back to school. I am actually happy about that except for the part where Daniel, is afraid to leave me along. He has even been driving a car so I can go with him. Taylor still doesn't understand what happened and Hayley understands half of it. She is scared to. "Sweet pea you ready" I sigh, hear the nickname Danny has given me, but then again I call him Danny. I found out a few days ago he doesn't like being called that.
Also I found a lot out about my mum, about everything. How she really does care, I guess this problem has set a lot of stuff of. Next mouth is my birthday and I am actually a little excited, I can drink legally and I will be an adult. But I have to get through this month; my dad still has his court case on the 18th.
"I am coming" I say grabbing my bag, today I am wearing high waist shorts and my hoodie of course, but shorts it really hot today, so I am trying something new. I put on my black snapback that. Danny doesn't know what I am wearing yet. I walk down the stairs I am still very sensitive it still hurts. "Ready" I ask, making him look at me. I watch as a smile spreads across his face. He nods, I yell out good bye to my mum.
When we get to the school, everyone was looking at us weird. I mean it's not like I am the first person to pull up at school, with him.

I sigh, getting out and begin to walk into the school knowing he is behind me. This is what I mean by he never leaves me along, I am lucky to go to the bathroom. I pick up my speed trying my best to get to my friends, when an arm wraps around my shoulders. "Not leaving me that quick sweet pea" he whispers making me shiver, and a small smile spreads across my face.
"Hey babe" I look at Hayley, running over to her "god I missed you" she laugh.
"I saw ya yesterday girl" I laugh.
"I know but I still miss ya" She laughs making me smile. We walk in together, her walking me to my locker along with Danny. "So what up with you to" she ask, when Daniel starts talking to Taylor and Cole, I shrug.
"Nothing" I say putting in my combination lock.
"Hmm...Whatever" she smirks, leaning against the locker beside, mine.
"If you will excuse Miss. Miller, your locker is right there" Our Principal says, making Hayley roll her eyes. "Now girls this is Jason Farmer he is starting here, I would love it if you girls could help him out" I smirk, looking at this smoking hot boy in front of me. Not as hot as Danny, but he is hot.
Dirty Blonde hair and grey eyes, I would say hot. We nod, checking him out a little more. This is going to the good.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, but please call me Jase" Oh and there it's the Australian accent. I smile. Suddenly feeling an arm wrap around my waist, not were the wound is the other side. I look up, seeing Danny smirking. What is he doing?
The belle goes. "Well get to class, and don't forget about Jason" she grins walking away.
"Hey I'm Baylee" I smile holding out my hand, he nods
"Hayley" She says, I see Taylor make his way over her, stand very close to Hayley. Hmm what going on they're.
"Nice to meet you ladies"
Daniel
I see the new dude, checking out my Baylee, I don't like it. I walk over wrapping my arm around her waist. Taking what is mine. I don't like seeing someone checking her out. If there was away for no one to look at her, I would totally pay for that.
"I'm Daniel" I say smirking, and for some reason I place my head on her shoulder. She keeps giving me this look, as if I was doing something wrong, which I don't think I am doing anything wrong.
"And I'm Taylor, where you from" Taylor ask.
"Melbourne Australia um... I have English next"
"So does us" Baylee says smiling "don't we" she asks me, I look down at her nodding. She smiles, turning back to Jase.
"Cool shall we go" he ask, Baylee pulls away walking with Jase along with Hayley. I follow behind them. When we get to class, I take my seat next to Baylee. I think I need to find a way to prove to him she is mine.
"Okay class please gets into your groups and now Hayley is back can you partner up with Jason" she ask, "thank you please join...um Baylee group. " The teacher smiles
Once we were all seated in there group "I think Daniel should be Romeo" A squeaky voice says. I roll my eyes. She thinks because I get to Romeo means she can be Juliet. The problem is I don't want Gemma, I want Baylee.
"Okay" Hayley says writing it down, than a smirk appears on her face "I think Baylee should be Juliet" Yes. Yes. Yes. I smile nodding.
"But I wanna" Gemma says. No. No. No. I glare at her.
"Nar, Baylee can be"
"But, but" Baylee says watching as Hayley rights it down.
"Okay Baylee group you are doing Act 1. Scene 5, how many more people do you need" She asks. We count the list.
"Three please" I say she nods, picking three people- Jake, Tammie and Chad. I grin, getting my book out.
"Okay let's start" They begin reading but I really can't be bothered. I grab a piece of paper.
Come over to my house, tonight, we will practice ~Daniel
I hand it over to Baylee, I watch as she smiles.

I grin as the bell goes; this is going to be an interesting night
