The next morning, Koz was hungover and really not wanting to get out of bed for anything. I was already up and ready to leave by the time I managed to get him out of bed. "Come on, babe, you have to get up," I coaxed softly, shaking his arm. "Gemma's doing breakfast, and we've been summoned."
"Why did you let me drink that much last night?" Kozik groaned, finally opening one eye to look up at me.
"There wasn't really any stopping you. I had to take you home so you'd stop trying to undress me in front of my dad and Jax."
He groaned, covering his face with his hands, "I'm so sorry."
"It was funny for the most part. But come on, go shower and get ready so we can go," I told him.
"And I still have to sew those new patches on," Koz grumbled, getting out of bed. I was going to let him keep thinking that until he actually saw his kutte.
I was sitting downstairs, waiting on Kozik when my phone buzzed. It was Ope.
O: You coming to breakfast?
D: Yeah. Someone's a little hungover, so we're moving pretty slow this morning.
O: Tell him to hurry up. We've got news, and want you here!
"Alright, I'm ready," Kozik groaned, coming downstairs. He walked over to where I'd laid his kutte over the back of the chair I was sitting in. He picked it up, feeling for the new patches in the inner pocket. I watched the look of panic wash over his face when they weren't there, until he finally inspected the kutte. "No way, when did you have time to do this?" he asked, looking down at me.
"After you passed out last night," I replied, standing up.
"You're amazing," he said, putting his kutte on. "I love you." He leaned over and kissed me quickly, "Let's go!"
We got to the clubhouse to find everyone already there. "You good this morning?" Jax asked, clapping Kozik on the back.
"Yeah, just a rough start," he grinned.
I walked over to Opie. "So what's this news you're dying to share?" I asked.
His response was to call out over the room that Lyla had something she wanted to say.
"We're getting married!" she smiled.
"Oh my god, that's awesome!" I grinned, turning to hug Opie. "I'm really happy for you."
"You too."
"It seems like everything is finally falling into place," I mused.
"We still have a few things left to take care of," Jax said, coming to hug Opie.
"So, joint Bachelor party?" I heard Tig ask.
"I want no part of that discussion," I said, heading over to hug Lyla. "So you're basically gonna be my sister now!" I said, pulling her into a hug.
"I wanted to ask if you'd be my maid of honor?" she asked.
"Of course!"
"Chapel!" Clay called. "We've got a big day ahead of us!"
The guys headed back to the other room and Juice closed the door behind them.
Tara, Lyla, Gemma, and I just stood staring at each other for a moment, no one really knowing what to say. "Are we planning a double wedding?" Gemma asked, breaking the awkward silence.
"I don't think so," I replied. "Now, a joint Bachelorette party, I could get behind that."
"I'll work on something."
