My phone going off is what woke us up early the next morning. It was Gemma. "What?" I asked.

"Stay up all night having sex?" she asked.

"That's none of your business," I mumbled.

"Have your man drop you off here and you can ride with Tara and I," Gemma told me.

"Sure. I yawned and hung up the phone. I relayed the plan before snuggling back in for a little bit longer. The alarm went off a half hour later and we both got up to shower. I got done first and left him in there to finish while I did my hair.

I put on a black sweater dress, black pantyhose, and paired it with knee-high black riding boots. I stared down at my jewelry collection, wondering what was appropriate.

"You look like you're thinking too hard," Kozik said, kissing my cheek.

He was walking around in only his boxers. "Not if you keep that up," I teased lightly. "I'm just trying to figure out what necklace to wear," I said, turning back to my jewelry tree.

"This one," he said, handing me a necklace with a silver stylized compass pedant.

"It's not too much?"

"Nope," he smiled and helped me put it on. "Please say you're going to put some pants on under that when I take you to your mom's?"

"Yes dad," I teased.

He finished getting dressed and I grabbed his kutte. "Here." I helped him slip it on.

"Pants, so we can go," Kozik repeated.

"Yes sir." I grabbed a pair of sweatpants and slipped them on over my boots, and under my dress. "Happy? It totally ruins the look."

"You look beautiful no matter what," he said, wrapping his arms around my waist.

"You're a smooth talker, you know that?" I asked with a smirk.

"You've told me a time or two." He pecked me on the lips and led me out to the garage. I put my helmet on while he backed out. "Come on, babe." I climbed on the back and away we went.

When we got Gemma's house, Clay was getting ready to back out of the driveway. He stopped when he saw us. "Good. Gemma was about to come find you."

"I'm here now," I replied, taking off the helmet. I put it down in the saddlebags so they could go. "Love you, babe."

"Love you more."

"Love it if we could go," Clay interrupted.

"See you in a bit," I said quietly. Kozik nodded and they left. I stripped off the sweatpants while I was still standing in the driveway. I didn't need the added criticism this morning from Gemma.

"I was about to send the Prospect," Gemma snapped when I walked into the house.

"Sorry."

"We need to go pick up Tara," she said, handing me a travel mug of coffee to take with me.

"Bless you," I sighed and followed her to the car.

We picked Tara up and she was carrying Jax's kutte. Apparently he didn't come home last night. We got to the burial site before anyone else did. We sat in the chairs and waited for the guys, who were escorting Donna's coffin.

Others filed in as the three of us sat there in an awkward silence. I breathed a small sigh of relief when I heard the roar of Harley engines. Once the coffin was up on the platform, the guys filed in behind the chairs. Kozik stood behind me and put a hand on my shoulder.
