Lyla came over in the morning and helped me get cleaned up. I was in my shorts, tank top, and robe when Chibs and Opie came over. Lyla was still there.

That morning I had really dark bruises under my eyes and my face was killing me in general, and with a fractured rib, it was hard to take a deep breath. I refused the pain meds for about as long as I could stand it, but I eventually caved because I couldn't stand it any longer.

We were sitting in my room when Miles knocked on the door. "The guys are here," he told me.

"Show them in," I sighed.

Chibs and Opie entered behind Miles, as he turned to quickly leave. "Oh my god," Opie grumbled.

"Yeah. She's got a helluva right hook," I replied.

Chibs knelt down to get a closer look. "We made it clear Tara and Gemma need to stay away. We had to keep your boy yesterday so that he wouldn't do anything stupid," he explained.

"Kozik went crazy. We didn't need him killing Gemma or Tara," Opie explained. "So don't be mad at him for how long it took to get to St. Thomas yesterday. That was on us."

I nodded. "I wasn't alone. One of my coworkers stayed with me until Koz got there. Have you told Clay?" I asked.

"We're trying to find the best way to do that," Opie admitted. So that's a no.

I'd tried to get up there to see Jax or Clay early in their incarceration, but for some reason I wasn't on either of their visitation lists. However, I was on Happy's list. I wanted nothing more than to take a trip up to see Jax and Clay to let them see Tara's handiwork, but I didn't know how to make that happen. But I could let Happy see it...

Once the guys were gone, I sat up in bed, and told Lyla what we needed to do. "Can you take me to Stockton? I want to see Happy," I told her.

"You know that's a bad idea," she replied. "You need some time to rest. You'd be miserable the whole way there and back."

I hesitated. She was right. "Then can we at least take some pictures?" If Happy couldn't see the worst of it in person, he could at least see the pictures.

"So what's this I hear about a hot doctor coming to your rescue, yesterday?" she asked while we were taking pictures.

I wanted to laugh, but with a broken rib, laughing hurt quite a bit. "That would be true," I replied in between shots of my bruised side. "He stayed until Kozik showed up."

"Damn, girl. If I wasn't already engaged, I'd say you should introduce me," she giggled.

"Can you get Miles or if my husband is still here, him?" I asked when we were done taking pictures. I liked being able to call Kozik 'my husband'. It just felt good.

"Yeah, sure."

When she came back, both guys were trailing behind her. "What's up, babe?" Kozik asked.

"I want the locks on the house changed. I don't want anyone else to have the spare key," I replied.

"You got it!" Kozik told Miles to stay put while he ran to the hardware store.

Lyla had to go to work, so it was just Miles and I when Gemma showed up. "You're not supposed to be here," I heard him tell her.

I groaned internally, debating on whether or not I should go out there.

"She's my daughter! I want to see her!" she yelled.

"No." The Prospect had balls.

I got up and threw my robe back on over my clothes and wandered out into my living room. "I wondered when you'd show up," I said, crossing my arms over my chest. "I really should call the police. You are trespassing."
