Hana was giddy with excitement as she got ready for her date with Namjoon. Up until now, he still hadn't given any hints to where he was taking her, heightening the excitement even more. She already knew he was an extraordinary gentleman, but what other qualities did he have? Hana was itching to know, wanting to learn more about him every time the blonde ran through her head.
She examined her simple outfit in the mirror; blue skinny jeans with rips in the knees, a black and white horizontally striped crop top and black wedges. For once, she let her blonde hair cascade over her shoulders, curled into loose beach waves that bounced in excitement for not being pulled up into some updo.
Luckily, she'd been able to convince Chan to get out of the apartment and go do something with his friends, even though he had intended on staying around for Namjoon's arrival. By mistake, she had told her older brother that she had a date today; being the protective older brother that he was, he wanted to establish his dominance and ensure that he wasn't some douche bag that was going to hurt his sister. After pleading, he finally decided to leave, letting Hana get ready in peace.
A knock at the front door broke her from critiquing her outfit; she wouldn't have anymore chances to change at this point, so she decided that this pairing was okay. Throwing her brown suede purse over her shoulder, she shuffled towards the door, opening it to reveal Namjoon, casually wearing a pair of khaki shorts and a black v-neck. His blonde locks were tousled, making it look as he didn't put much effort into his look.
Hana wondered if he'd spent hours deciding on his outfit like she had.
Shamelessly, his eyes wandered down her body, lingering over her face, to her chest, down to her hips, tracing her long legs, and resting at her shoes. Pursing his lips, he brought his eyes back up to meet hers, almost disapprovingly. "Those just won't work," he commented, then gestured inside the apartment, "Do you mind?"
Taken aback, Hana stepped to the side, allowing the tall man to enter. She followed him as he found her room, which wasn't hard considering there weren't many doors in the apartment. The small space she shared with Chan was embarrassingly small compared to his own. Immediately, he found her closet, and scanned through her collection of shoes, picking up her pair of white and black Superstar Adidas, quickly handing it to her.
"You'll want to wear these," he explained effortlessly, leading Hana to realize he'd been talking about her shoes this whole time. What exactly did he have planned?
"Um, okay," she hesitated before grabbing the sneakers, quickly exchanging them with the heels she was already wearing. "Where are we going?" Her curiosity was getting the best of her, and she wanted to know what he had in store.
"It's a surprise," he put a finger to his lips and stared darkly at her, "Are you ready to get going?" Nodding enthusiastically, she led him out of her apartment and followed him to the white SUV that waited for them, before he opened the door for her and hopped into the drivers seat.
