Friday had rolled around quickly, and Hana had the day off. She was surprised, as office workers typically didn't have the day off during the weekday, but she was learning that Bangtan Studios wasn't like any other company, that was for sure. Especially her team. Since she had the day off, she decided to use this time to hang out with Rina, who was eager to have this friend day.
They quickly decided on the beach; Hana loved the ocean, whether it was going to the beach, or being out in the water on a boat. Rina, she learned, loved the ocean, too. Last night, Hana prepared food for the picnic they decided to have as well.
Luckily, living on the outskirts of Seoul meant that they weren't too far from the beach they had decided to go to. As soon as Rina arrived to her complex, they would start heading to the wonderful place.
It had honestly been a long time since Hana had worn her only bathing suit. In fact, she was surprised it fit as well as it did - it wasn't anything fancy, but the thought of having to go out and buy a new one didn't exactly excite her too much. Phone buzzing, she checked to see a message from Rina, announcing her arrival to her building. Hana quickly gathered her things before heading downstairs to greet her new friend, whom she had talked to daily since she'd agreed to their 'friend date'.
"Oh my god, you look so beautiful," Rina smiled brightly as Hana crawled into her car. A blush crept up to Hana's cheeks at the brunettes curt compliment. She found out that Rina was not afraid to speak her mind, and like Taehyung, was saturated with love and kindness. It was obvious why Taehyung was so taken with her, her heart was bigger than this world.
"Yeah, but you always look beautiful," Hana beamed back. It felt like she waited an entire lifetime for this specific friendship, and that waiting had been so worth it.
"Stop lying," her face was doused in faux seriousness, "I'd kill somebody to be able to get my hair to look like that. Literally." Hana knew the girl was just joking, but the way she had said it seemed so dark, before returning to her usual bubbly self.
"Don't make me call Tae," Hana warned, knowing he'd quickly take her side. Rina jutted out her bottom lip as she pulled out from her parking spot.
"That's not fair, you know there's not an atom in my body that is capable of fighting with that gorgeous man," she shot back, now concentrating on the road before them. Hana knew it was true, it only took a small conversation with her to know she was hopelessly in love with Taehyung. Thinking of the two of them, Hana couldn't get over how much she loved their relationship, and she only hoped there was somebody out there that she could love that much.
An imagine of Namjoon ran through her head, completely uninvited. Tucking the thought away, placing it under lock and key, Hana didn't want to jinx what she could have with Namjoon when they hadn't even had their first date yet. As much as she was looking forward to today, she was even more excited for tomorrow. Where would he take her?
