"Hello?" Hana hadn't bothered to check the caller ID when she answered, and momentarily lectured herself before hearing the voice on the other side. She'd gotten lucky.
"Hey," Rina's sweet voice chimed over the phone, sounding slightly concerned. Hana knew her new, close friend wasn't one to talk on the phone, preferring to text over-dramatically, so Hana assumed Taehyung had told her about everything that's happened at work. "I would have called earlier but," she paused for a moment before continuing, "Taehyung came home really pissed off, and it was hot so we did the horizontal mambo."
"The what?" Hana couldn't believe what she was hearing.
"Putting the wand in the Chamber of Secrets, if you will," she clarified.
"R I N A," was all Hana managed to choke out.
"A few times," she could tell the brunette was proud on the other end of the phone.
"Why me?" Hana questioned to herself, pinching the bridge of her nose and closing her eyes in the process.
"Anyways, I wanted to check on you. I heard about what happened," Even though Rina changed the topic, Hana was still slightly mortified.
"Before or after Taehyung parked the beef bus in tuna town?" Immediately after the words slipped from her mouth, Hana wanted to suffocate herself with a pillow. Could this conversation possibly get any worse?
"After," Rina answered with pride, "I swear, he came in and I-"
"I got it," Hana promised, slamming her head against her desk. On the bright side, Bullet suddenly leaving their chat had completely been eradicated from her mind. Still, the last thing she needed was to have to sit next to Taehyung at work and have Rina's words running through her mind.
Horizontal mambo.
Oh my god.
"Taehyung told me that Jungkook's been bullying you," Hana could imagine Rina frowning on the other end of the call, messing with the ends of her long hair, or fiddling with the fabric of her shirt as she talked. "That's why I called, I'm a little worried."
"The guys have all said he's just a dick around girls. Is he that way around you?" Hana questioned, a thought in the back of her mind causing her to wonder if something had happened to him to cause him to be such an asshole. Not that his past mattered to her, but she wondered if he'd gone out of his way especially for her.
"I mean, he's always kept his distance from me. Actually, I've never seen him with a woman. He's never bullied me, though, but I think he knows Taehyung would rip him apart. My knight in shining armor," a sigh left Rina's lips, and Hana found herself still scarred from hearing her talk about today's sexual experience with her work partner.
