"I'm happy you agreed to come here," Jungkook smiled down at Hana as they walked hand in hand down the boardwalk, both clutching onto disposable cups of hot chocolate, a feeble attempt to warm them from the cold weather. With each breath, Hana could see the small gust of air as it came from her mouth, like a tiny little cloud.

It had been the same Jungkook had taken Hana to see Dr. Elica, and truthfully, she was feeling better. It still felt like her world was crashing down around her, but now she didn't feel so bad about not crashing down with it. This time, she wouldn't have to sink with the ship, and today would be the start of her picking up her own pieces. When Jungkook asked if she wanted to take a walk on the boardwalk, for the first time, she felt excitement. Even if it was minute, it was something.

"This is where we had our first date," Hana smiled, though it was small. Aside from the intrusion of that cockroach of a human being, it really had been the perfect first date. Unfiltered time with Jungkook, and ultimately, ending with the exploration of their bodies. Her face flushed slightly at the memory; they were far from strangers to each other's skin at this point, but she was by no means the expert. The thought of his touch, even now, still made her nervous.

"I used to think I was the luckiest guy in the world on that date with you," Jungkook beamed, and Hana looked up at him in confusion.

"Used to?" she questioned, wondering if his feelings for her had changed.

"Well, yeah. Now I'm the luckiest guy in the world. Old Jungkook doesn't hold a candle this Jungkook," his smile only got wider, causing an immediately reaction from Hana, her eyes rolling to the back of her head. Despite that, her heart nearly fluttered out of her chest, still not used to the things he said to her, constantly managing to make her question whether or not she was in a dream.

"I agree," Hana took a sip of her drink, taking in the richness of the chocolate and the rush of the warmth as it washed down her throat. "I'm very thankful for this Jungkook." Of course, she accepted every part of him thoughtlessly, but he'd really grown into a person she was proud of, one she was no longer afraid to open up to. Before, she'd been afraid that any little thing she said or did would come back around to bite her in the ass.

Now, she could confide in him endlessly.

Now, he was the only one she wanted to share every little part of her life with.

"I..." he croaked as he paused. Hana had only caught on to the fact that he'd stopped walking after she'd taken a few more steps and their hands disconnected. She turned around to look back at him to see sullen eyes looking at the ground, a finger tapping nervously against his cup.

"Jungkook?" Hana asked in an attempt to get his attention, ultimately failing as he remained statuesque. Closing the distance between them, she placed herself right in front of him, close enough to admire how perfect his every feature was. "I know it's cold, but I know you're not frozen solid."
