Beep...Beep...Beep...

Tony stayed at Stephen's room for weeks. The other avengers tried to make him rest but knowing that Tony is stubborn, he wouldn't move.

Tony was in deep guilt for Stephen's unconsciousness, He cried day and night making his eyes bloodshot. Wong got furious and he also, despised Tony. He wanted to be there for Stephen and ask for forgiveness once he wakes up.

Im afraid not. He's blaming his self for what happened.

Well HE IS the reason why Stephen is in that state.

Both of them are at fault. Stephen acted harshly, Tony hit him.

Its okay. I forgive you. But my hate for Tony wouldn't change. I need time.

Loki
Okay. If you need time, then we'll give it to you. We have to prepare ourselves if Stephen wakes up.

Wong

Tony was feeling sleepy. His eyes were drooping uncontrollably. He thought of Stephen, what he would say when he wakes up. He wants to apologize and brace his self for Stephen's decision. He wishes for Stephen. That he will one day, wake up, and forgive him. He wished that they would be together again.

After a few hours, Tony dozed into a deep sleep. It was energizing, but it wasn't relaxing. He had a ton of nightmares, one of them was Stephen not remembering him.

"No!Please don't!" Tony was screaming in his sleep. Nurses and doctors came to wake him up. Tony woke up, tears falling from his face. When Tony stood up, he stumbled, causing his hand to land on Stephen's. Tony immediately noticed that his hand slightly moved and Tony was immediately taken aback and he started to panic.

"H-his h-hand...I-it" He pointed at Stephen's hand, stuttering with every word that comes out of his mind. Tony didn't know what to do at this point.

"It what?" One of the doctors asked him. Tony was starting to cry, tears were forming on his eyes, causing to turn it into a crimson red color.

"I-It moved...Stephen is a-awake" Tony pointed at Stephen's hand. His whole body was shaking that it was noticeable to the people inside the room.

The doctors and nurses that were there immediately checked on his heart rate and other things since they had to be sure if he's alright. Fortunately, his heart rate was normal and there was no abnormalities.
When the doctors and nurses informed Tony, tears were forming on his face and he suddenly went inside the room and rushed Stephen in a hug.

"I-I missed you-" Tony was cut off in his sentence. When Stephen weirdly looked at him. All of a sudden, Tony became confused.

"I-I d-don't remember you I'm s-sorry" Stephen blurted, making Tony's heart shatter and more tears immediately flowed on his face.

Tony feared one thing, and that one thing that he feared the most became reality.
