Time passed as Tony and Stephen hadn't seen or had contact with each other.
Its been years, 5 years perhaps.
Both lost feelings for each other and found love with Christine and Pepper.
Tony proposed to Pepper, and she said yes.

After proposing to Pepper, Tony was so glad that he decided to make the grandest party in the tower. He felt the need to invite everyone, including Christine and Stephen. They had history, but Tony couldn't care less if he didn't come. After all, the love is gone.

"You really had to throw a grand party huh?" Pepper asked as she drank a glass of water. Tony nodded and smiled as he went nearer to Pepper.

"Of course, I have to boast the most beautiful woman in the universe" Tony said as he hugged Pepper, making her smile. The day continued on as they were planning the design and the food, but the top priority for Tony was Pepper's enjoyment. He had to make sure that he had the grandest party for the love of his life.

"Oh look! Tony's throwing an engagement party, we have to come" Christine smiled as she read the expensively made letter. Stephen rolled his eyes as he grabbed another book about spells.

"Oh come on, we have to go" Christine whined. Stephen went closer to her as he answered with a no. Christine frowned as she held Stephen's hand.

"It's Tony's party, I have to disagree" Stephen said as he avoided Christine's death glares.

"Oh come on he's marrying Pepper, my best friend! Do it for me, please?" Christine whined as she looked at Stephen with puppy eyes. Stephen couldn't do anything, he loves Christine more than anything and he would do anything for her, even if it means seeing the man who he despised the most, the man who almost ruined his life.

"Ugh, fine. We'll go" Stephen sighed as Christine immediately hugged him, making him smile warmly.

"Thank you! I'll make you your favorite food later" Christine smiled as she dug deeper in the hug, making Stephen chuckle.

"This is why I love you" Stephen smiled as he kissed Christine's forehead.

And the night started.

The place was full of people in suits and gowns, talking to each other and enjoying the night. Of course, editors and photographers were there, capturing the memory of the event. After a few minutes, the avengers came and people were all coming over to have a photo with them.

Bruce and Thor entered first, with Bruce wearing an elegant gray suit as his hair was slightly messy while Thor showed up in a dark red suit, his hair freshly cut and his beard shaved, his bare chest was showing and all the ladies swooned over him, making Bruce proud to have this man as his husband.
